So we have the potential to start the year with our obligatery losing western trip? Good god. And yes that stupid christmas stretch has disaster written all over it. We don't win games in Dallas during the holidays. That's a fact.

We don't play Boston until December either.

And this year we finish the season against the Rangers! It'll be nice to finish with an easy win.

I do like the four division format and the fact that you will see each team in your barn at least once and go to each city at least once but I don't like the idea of only 4 games (that I can see) against the Bruins.

Also the Habs are in the Atlantic now? Does the NHL not realize that if you go with non-geographical division names you don't have to try to explain the alignments as much. In an 8 team division called the Atlantic, 2 teams are actually on the Atlantic Ocean. Maybe only one, is Miami on the Atlantic. I think so.

Great part is that you see every team in the league at home at least once. Had to be done like that.

As a sidenote, I hope that they come back to white jersey for the home team as usually the greatest jersey is the dark one...so people would see all of them at their rink. No need to see ours...just have to buy it instead and wear it.

Olympics sure do make a mess of the schedule.

Looks like 5x vs the Leafs and Senators and 4x vs everyone else in the division.

EDIT: and we're in the Atlantic division now. Weird.

Can anyone give me an idea of when tickets usually become available? I always end up finding some good ones on Ebay but I can never remember what time of the year they usually start popping up.
