RHL - Russian Hockey League (minor league)

Rostov (my hometown) is rumored to field a team based on HC Zubr, that participated in last year's JHL (junior hockey team).

You can count me in on HK Rostov's bandwagon because it looks like the team will be coached by our hockey icon Pantelejevs.

Rostov with two home sell outs (technically since the admission was free) in a row. Since the next game they will start charging for tickets, as there are more people showing up than the LDS can fit. I hope there's future for the sport.

a bummer, as Rostov is having about 4,000 avg crowds at hockey games, but they are closing the DS for renovations and the team is moving to a 800 person rink.

Shouldn't they be doing renovation during off-season?

the money is in concerts and shows, so they do it when they think is suitable. It's almost identical to Druzhba in Donetsk, they plan on doing something very similar to it.

East and West standings and player statistics. Only few somewhat serious cities left in the competition.
