The demand for a Saturday night game vs Nashville shouldn't be "too" high, should it? As a blues fan, I like how it worked out since the ticket won't have the same demand as an Eastern Conference rival's would and I also get to root against the Preds.

Man, am I excited!
No in Montreal they have trouble getting people to fill the seats

It does not matter what team plays in Montreal they tend to sell out every game no matter what day or time it is.

Well the Bruins would be playing in the "too many men" division.
And L.A. would, of course, be in the "Mcsorley's stick" division. Perhaps
the Rangers could play in the "5-0 lead ???" division.

You should still get them as soon as they go on sale. Trust.

Last season was a bit of an abberation, what with many fans still being pissed about the lockout and a 28th ranked habs team. Now with a painful hockey-free summer and a 2nd place finish in the east... yeah... get your tickets asap.

Sept 16 vs Bruins.

McCarron vs ?

Crisp vs ?

Deitz vs ?

Thrower vs ?

This is more fun than a crossword puzzle.

I'll just amend the link to this one. No point in creating a new one.

Wait, the Ottawa Senators stadium is called the Canadian Tire now? Where the **** was I?

There is just NO WAY that I play McCarron against the Bruins. No need to make a spectacle out of a kid's 1st preseason game. No need for the pressure to prove something either. Not even sure I'd give him a preseason game anyway. There are so many players to test to know what to do with them in the near future like:

Leblanc
Bournival
Holland
Nattinen
Quailer
St-Pierre
Tarnasky
Thomas
White (even him who needs to show he belongs in the top 12)
Hudon
Vail
Bozon

And there also quite a few d-men to test that in some nights, I'd probably dress 7 d-men.

Not sure but don't teams usually dress 22 skaters in pre-season?

7 skaters would be the norm if the case

I'm just saying that throughout the preseason, I'd give way more games to those guys than to guys newly drafted. I don't see the point. Especially not McCarron who has the biggest chance of being exposes in ALL the hockey aspects. No need for that.

Yes I'm onside with this. Although that was a lighthearted comment, I
agree that McCarron doesn't need to dress against the Bruins. It would be
a very unfair situation. And, as you say, there are other players that need
to be looked at. Anyone who played pro last year are the most obvious, but
Thrower is in an interesting position, and a decision might swing on his
camp/ex. games.
And to me the most interesting is Lablanc. I desperately want him to
look great, and put last year behind him. But I have no idea what to expect.

I want to see all of our prospects get a pre-season game. I'm greedy like that.

Were all the pre-season games televised last time? I can't remember that far back

Yes, RDS broadcasted all pre-season games except one last time IIRC.

The last time we started our roadtrip in the West at the beggining of a season was in 2009-2010 and oh boy it didn't went so well. I remember this defeat against Vancouver, brutal. Need to go for the first game and the one against the Ducks!

As a sidenote, I hope that they come back to white jersey for the home team as usually the greatest jersey is the dark one...so people would see all of them at their rink. No need to see ours...just have to buy it instead and wear it.
What?! Exactly...because the dark one is the greatest, we need to wear it at home.

When do you think we will start seeing tickets on Ebay?
By eBay, you meant "StubHub" which is owned by eBay themselves?

The one in Ottawa is usually never broadcasted. I think it's for a specialty reason. Some bar has the rights to it and it's only showed in those places ? I could be way off on this.

It's the one I go to.

Buy it, so you'll have it at home. But seeing the others once or twice a year wouldn't hurt anybody. Would add more colors to the "experience"....
