So what do you expect the winner of the West to end at? If they end 13-3, you think the winner of our division only goes 9-7? I think that's a stretch. I'll bet the winner of the west goes 13-3, maybe even 12-4 and our division will be 11-5.

9-7 is ridiculous. I have no clue what he's thinking.

It's the Packers' division to lose. I anticipate them going 11-5 with the Bears and Vikings battling for second. One will be 9-7. The other will be 8-8. The Lions will be a putrid 6-10.

SF or SEA goes 14-2 or 15-1. They're clearly the two best teams in football.

I also wouldn't be surprised to see the Vikings sweep the Packers and/or the Bears.

They split with them both last year in the regular season and played the Packers close in their loss to them. What's so ridiculous about that?

The Packers have improved their pass rush and running game, two of their biggest weaknesses.

The Vikings could barely be close to respectable against the Packers with just DuJuan Harris. Eddie Lacy and Johnathan Franklin bring a whole new element.

It's not ridiculous but it is extremely unlikely.

Exactly. Hence the "I wouldn't be surprised". The Vikings are a lot better than people give them credit for.

And the Vikings might actually be respectable in the passing game this year. Not to mention their young players like Harrison Smith, Matt Kalil, and Kyle Rudolph are all going to get better.

And maybe AP won't be 9 yards away from breaking the all time rushing record

I'm not saying the Vikings are better than the Packers. I'm saying the playing field in this division is more level than in years past.

The Vikings have no chance to go 4-0 against the Bears and Packers combined. All teams improved, but that's just not happening.

AP had one of the best years ever for a RB and the vikings still barely made the PO's. Unless ponder turns a corner, they are still a bubble team at best.

I'm thinking 1-3 is more likely than 4-0.

They've certainly set themselves up to be better in the passing game with Jennings and Patterson along with Rudolph. That's 3 legitimate options for Ponder to throw to. And, if he sucks, they have Cassel, who's competent.

Both of those guys are a big step down from Harvin. And Cassel has proven he's certainly not competent

When you lose your starting job to Brady Quinn ,, You are not competent QB

I like Jennings and Patterson but still question Ponder (And the Vikes pretty much confirm he is on spot this year to prove he is #1)

Before he got hurt, people were saying he was MVP

He was on pace for 100+ catches, 1200 yards receiving and 200 yards rushing plus what he did on special teams

Yea, let's extrapolate pace after a little over half a season. He's never received 1000 yards in his career and his career YPC is 11.8(its been going consistently down every season). He's one of those guys that can put up decent numbers on mediocre teams who will just give him the ball again and again. He's certainly not a great receiver, and I'd much rather have greg jennings on the bears than percy harvin.

As for the MVP nonsense, he wasn't even the MVP of his team, vikings 5-4 with harvin, 5-2 without him.

On what planet?

AP was talk of MVP from the moment he stepped on field and carried that team to playoffs

Jennings is 10x the WR that Harvin is
