hey so anyone want to take a trip up to old Detroit?

I heard police response times are still under an hour.

Maybe you can be cast in Robocop: The Real Thing

Or worse yet, be the next Robocop. Murphy, it's you.

The guy that does my tattoo work travels all over the world and he completely loved Dubai. Had a great time there apparently. Unless I hit the powerball lotto it would be close to the bottom of my list.

I was there for a long layover (13 hours) on my way back from Southeast Asia. Cool stuff to see, but I wouldn't do more than 3 days (if that) and I certainly would never want to live there.

Now this.

Good for you. Now go make us some burgers.

Of course it won't change how much I come here. Hell this forum is practically been my home page for many years.

Then you fall in a very rare club since I've probably infracted no more than 10 times in all my years as a mod .

For those that didn't know about it before, here's the coolest thing to come out of Comic-con, IMO.

Trailer for an updated version of Cosmos, with Neil DeGrasse Tyson in the Carl Sagan role:

Sweet. I like DeGrasse. Sagan's Cosmos for me its hard to put into the words how much I got out of that show as a youngling.

Bought a 2013 Ford Focus over the weekend. 5 speed manual black hatchback, 160hp. Not a bad little car. Never pictured myself buying a Ford...but couldn't pass up the deals on the 2013 models right now.

Ill miss my 04 Frontier...but family life is catching up to me.

That's the key right there. Manual transmission doubles the awesome of any car.

No doubt. My truck was the same. I hate driving automatics.

We test drove a Nissan Versa Note just for giggles. The CVT transmission feels like theres a pillow under the gas pedal. Hated it.

I know I'm a little late to the party (I think it's been mentioned on here before), but I picked up X-Com: Enemy Unknown from the Steam summer sale, and it's a stellar game.

Very highly recommended.
