At the end of the day I'm sure he gets some boo's but who really cares. The kid was not the character guy we all thought he was. His career hasn't really taken off like we all thought it would either. He might turn out to be a great 2nd liner but I don't see topline talent there. He's too slow and too soft. I still make that trade for Kassian.

Doubt he would sign. Gillis trashed him to deflect blame for that stupid trade. True or not Hodgson isn't coming near a Canucks jersey.

Oh yeah, he's really failed in Buffalo. only 3 times Kassian's point total with twice as many goals.

Oh yeah... Who said he failed? I guess reading isn't your strongest... and how can you compare the two players when they play different games in different situations and minutes? I guess you are one of those people who only looks at points as the be all end all of a players game.

As been said, it wouldn't surprise to me to see Hodgson getting booed by Sabres fans first (re: current contract negotiations).

Mike Gillis will be boo'ing that's for sure, while hoping Kassian stumbles his way into scoring a goal somehow.

lol what stupid trade? We couldn't even afford him right now anyways, and he's not worth the 4+ million he's after. So freaking overrated by Canucks fans.

I dont think so, but hopefully Kes actually connects with a big hit on him this time. Last time Kes threw a huge one on Hodgson that just missed. Almost as if Kesler heard that Hodgson was complaining because he wanted 2nd line minutes right away as opposed to Kesler's way of working hard for years and getting it

Exactly. No reason to boo Cody.

The only people that will boo him will be the people who hit the Gillis kool-aid HARD

It's good for a laugh with people in the stands..I would join in too if only to have fun so I don't think you should generalize.

Fine. People who have drunk the Gillis kool-aid as well as people who like to boo hockey players "for fun".

Vancouver has knowledgeable hockey fans

Ummmm....I'd bet my house he's a Sabre when he returns to Vancouver.

He was one of the few bright spots for the Sabres last year. He is our number 1 centre who was on pace for a 60 point sophomore season last year after improving his skating training with Gary Roberts. At this point the sky is the limit for him.

If by sky you mean putting up 80-90 points in his prime playing #1 PP/ES minutes while being mediocre defensively, then sure.

Improved his skating? I watched probably ten Sabres games and he hasn't improved his skating since being drafted. He'll never be a center a team wins with. To weak, slow and feable. Ya hell put up 60 points but he'll be on for more goals against than for. Your post is laughable. Sky is the limit?? He wot be a first line center there for long.

I mean there is no weakness in his game that is not correctable. So, he could hit 80-90 and maybe even 100+. I think we are on the same page and arguing relatively about semantics.

I should add he was a great 2-way centre in Brampton. No reason he couldn't be in Buffalo with some hard work.

I stopped reading after this sentence. I hope this is the dumbest thing you say, but I highly doubt it is.
