Oscar Möller & Bud Holloway

Are LA re-inking them?

They're NHL material on some teams.

Tyler Toffolli looks to be a full-timer and Linden Vey has been tearing up leagues since he started minor hockey. Vey will tear up the AHL next season. LA have some of the best scouts in the game.

I would love for the Flames to sign Holloway but I think the Kings own his rights until next offseason and they are most likely more than happy to let him sit out of the NHL if he doesn't want to play for them.

Holloway is staying in Skellefteå it seems.
Quote:
Bud Holloway, 25, thanked not only no to an NHL contract.

Now Sportbladet reveal that point King also turned down a full 13 million a year in Russia - to stay in Skellefteå.

- I can only say it was a crazy big contract, says Holloway's agent, Peter Wallen.
Holloway turned down both two-way contract in the NHL and a big contract in the KHL.

The big question before the deadline for the transition between SHL and NHL passed was about Skelleftea would manage to keep the score king Bud Holloway.

It turned out that champions got it.

Although the star was offered a envägskontrakt of the Los Angeles Kings, the club that has the rights to him.
Lock Ades with jättelön in KHL

Around 650,000 dollar - corresponding approximately four million(SEK) - that contract with the Kings was worth, thanked Holloway refuse.

- There were in advanced discussions with Los Angeles. But finally it was not their proposals in line with what he wanted, says agent Peter Wallen.

There were also big money to be made in the KHL for Holloway, scoring king had several hot deals on the Russian side.

One of them hotter than the other.

Sports blade can reveal that Skellefteås gold hero also picked off a KHL contract worth SEK 13 million - a year.

To stay in Västerbotten.
"All credit to Skelleftea"

- I can confirm that it was a sick big contract, crazy big. But Bud is so happy in Skellefteå and all credit to the club and Sweden. It's great that we get to see him one more season at home, says Wallen.

Holloway won the elite series (now SHL) Scoring leaders far after having accounted for 71 points (20 +51) in 55 games. In the playoffs, he made nine more points on the way to Skellefteå's first national championship since 1978.

Despite the mass amount of Kings fans who are upset when things don't go our way, Holloway certainly has good NHL potential. I see a pretty good 2nd liner in him and at WORST a great 3rd line winger. Not sure what the issue was with signing but it just didn't happen. He'll likely get an NHL deal from another team next year.

As for Moller, I think it's POSSIBLE he makes it as an NHLer but it certainly won't be in LA. He could probably get another shot somewhere but it 100% will not be with the Kings.

And yes, our scouts are fantastic.

He would look great in a Sharks jersey.

LA tried to sign Holloway but he declined wanting more money. So it is safe to say that he's gone. The Kings will likely take a shot at Moller next year with a similar offer, assuming he continues to play very well overseas, though he will likely share the same fate. Probably safe to assume they are both gone.

The Kings felt he was a prospect, not a NHL player. They let him re-enter the organization at the same spot he would have been if he stayed. Of course he said no. And of course the Kings won't pay a player who doesn't deserve it.

He's not a NHLer. Better for him to be a big fish in a little pond. Sutter would eat him for breakfast.

And Moller, now that Sutter has his total imprint on the organization and got the Cup to back it up, Moller won't fit in this organization and he also left to play in a league that won't develop him for the NHL. I could see someone giving him a shot though. He has a good attitude and thus maybe can make things happen for himself.

I'm guessing Holloway wanted a 1 way deal at a similar amount to what hes being paid in Sweden without ever playing a single NHL game and DL laughed in his face. He'll probably come back to the states in a couple of years for a singing career.

I would give either a shot in Calgary, but I wouldn't do it via trade, I would offer sheet them and if they signed it would be low enough to be no compensation.

Möller had a ligament injury and had to have surgury but still managed to score 18 goals in 28 games last season in SEL. Compare that to goal scoring leader Carl Söderbergs 31 goals in 54 games.
Sure, he'll never be a top player there but I wouldn't dismiss the NHL just yet.

...And Holloway is too good for SEL and will most likely play in the NHL next year.

Mollers the better half. I wouldn't invest **** into holloway. He holds the scoring title for the SEL. Big whoop. Unproven.

Between Hickey and Holloway, seems the Kings should stay away from Seattle players. (Moller almost counts as he was Seattle property for what would have been his final 2 seasons in the WHL)

Well that's underplaying it a bit. Top 3 All time during regular season in SEL is:
1. Håkan Loob 76pts (Played 450+73 NHL-games)
2. Bud Holloway 71pts
3. Kristian Huselius 67pts (Played 662+24 NHL-games)
He also holds the all time playoff record and has proven that he can play and produce points on small rinks.

He had fun in Sweden and wanted to play another year in SEL, no need to be ******** about it.

Do you ever back up your posts with any REASONS? Holloway is absolutely the better player and you're clearly just bitter. Go post more Brown trade proposals.

Moller is. Holloway has the potential to be a good 2nd line player. But thanks for the really great addition to this thread.
