I expect Galchenyuk to make it before Pacioretty. Pacioretty better learn how to play physical again and grind more. Because he's not having a LW role on the top-6.

Someone needs to photoshop a huge Lucic on a very small circus tricycle for our 1st GDT with the Bruins. Lol

Despite the fact that he was the highest scoring U.S. LWer last year and was 2nd to Parise by only 4 points the year before?

Who's ahead of him? van Reimsdyk? Saad? Ryan Malone?

Your obsession with Pacioretty playing physical is bordering on lunacy.

I really miss Ryan Mcdonagh.

Imagine we building around:
Carey Price
PK Subban
Ryan Mcdonagh
Alex Galchenyuk
Max Pacioretty
Brenden Gallagher
Jarrod Tinordi
Lars Eller

Timmins did well.

Why? It's on international ice... His skating >>> grinding.

Maxpac has as good a chance as anybody for a top 6 LW spot on team USA.

So who's left?
Plekanec-Czech
Diaz-Swiss
Eller-Denmark
Budaj-Slovakia??(does he get a shot?)
Andrighetto-Swiss?(might get a shot?)
Mayer-Czech (doubt it)
Denmark won't be there and Mayer is a Swiss in terms of international play.

Here's how it could look,

Team Canada- Price, Subban
Team USA- Pacioretty, Galchenyuk
Team Russia- Markov, Emelin
Team Czech Republic- Pleks
Team Swiss- Diaz
Team Slovakia- Budaj (not sure if he gets invited or not)

i'm I the only one who does not want our veterans playing in the Olympics...I rather them well rested. The young guns I don't mind...great experience.

It'll be tough to leave PK off the squad but who knows. After last season there would have to be a pretty crazy excuse to not have him on the team.

Never care about Team Canada but man would it be fun to see PK on that international ice!
PK on international ice with his speed and strength would be quite the sight. No doubt in my mind he makes the team. Would be a travesty if not.

Unless Pacioretty completely falls of the map next season and can't buy a goal, his chances of being on the U.S team are extremely high.

Agreed. His speed and goal scoring will help the USA out on the bigger ice and having a physical edge always helps.

AG is getting all kinds of experience this year. A lot of hockey for him, helps making up for that year lost.
