can't wait to see him in NA... just hope that people will give him time. Time to adjust, time to show his talent and don't expect him to dominate the league in his 1st or 2nd season

Out of curiosity, how do you feel about Jokerit moving? It sucks that you're losing the HIFK rivalry, but do you think it'll be for the better?
Not thrilled at all. My interest lies in SM-Liiga with a history of known teams and rivalries. I have zero interest in following KHL, I don't follow the results nor stats of Finnish players in any way. I've been a Jokerit fan for over 22 years but after next season, that will end.

Where's TT in that lineup? I also think Kruger and Leddy will be here awhile.

Lalonde has signed in Germany, currently an RFA with the Hawks.

His future with the Hawks was fading fast ever since we got Leddy.

Hopefully he has better luck in Berlin.

Explains why the Hawks haven't been hesitant to bring in new Dmen in Rockford

So Rockford's D is pretty much set then:

Dahlbeck - Clendening
Peckham - Kostka
Olsen - Svedberg

With the way things are ATM, absolutely. I still expect Brookbank to be dealt though.

I don't think so, he was a solid replacement last year and they need a guy like Stanton in Rockford..especially after Lalonde leaving.

They do, Svedberg hasn't even played an AHL game so there is an unknown factor there. And you cant roll 6 dmen all year.

According to Jokerit twitter, they've been training with TT centering the second line: https://twitter.com/Teme09/status/36...007552/photo/1 "Lahti" could mean Janne Lahti, who won the goal scoring title in SM-Liiga two seasons ago (playing in the same line with Teemu Pulkkinen), he's been rumored to go to Jokerit. Apparently Jokerit aren't looking for a new centre to replace Ilari Filppula so it seems they're giving Teräväinen another shot at C.

Six Hawks prospects are playing in the opening games of the Lake Placid U20 evaluation tournament.

Sweden beat USA White 4-2.

Carl Dahlstrom had an assist. Robin Norell was scoreless as was Tyler Motte.

USA Blue vs. Finland is in progress. John Hayden, Vince Hinostroza and Teuvo Teravainen are all playing.

TT just scored to tie it up at 1-1.

Teravainen has 2 goals and an assist, but USA's leading 5-4 over Finland with minutes to play in the third period.

Corey Pronman's standouts through the first two games (Sweden vs. USA white/Finland vs. USA Blue) have been, concerning Hawks: Teuvo Teravainen, Robin Norell and John Hayden. It sounded like Norell was very good for Sweden, and obviously Teravainen's been great again for Finland. He's playing centre BTW.
