I would absolutely pay the price for Clifford.

Prust, Clifford, Parros, White, Moen, Tinordi. Toughness problem solved.

Prust - White - Clifford
Moen/Parros
DD and Gallagher on the same line. .

It's not that bad of an idea...Midway through the season, the Pacioretty-Desharnais-Gallagher line was our best one.

B. Gally may be small but he plays big and crashes the net more than any player on theHabs and creates tons of room.

Besides, I think you meant Briere and not DD.

Truly impressive indeed. I know I'd pay almost $5MM for those numbers.

having a 6 year career under your belt before you turn 24 is a pretty impressive achievement... ditto leading your team in ice time (at forward), at 23 years old.

The defense would still be way too soft

Not really. Only Tinordi would play significant minutes. If McCaron becomes top 6 on the other hand...

People never give him credit, but Bourque is one tough mofo. He rarely fights, but when he does he usually does well.

And the nhl needs to realize when it has one of the easiest suspension decisions to make in years, but alas...

What's your point? Clifford is more than a goon.

Not going to call him an idiot just yet but he did paint himself into a corner unless he trades himself out of the little mess he created.

This is true, but I'd rather him never fight again. Especially with his latest concussion from Orr's sucker punch.

Elliotte Friedman ‏@FriedgeHNIC 10m Hearing that Ludwig Karlsson -- who just left Northeastern University -- is going to sign with the Ottawa Senators

Weird signing...5-3-8 in 17 games for Northeastern U last year.

What about picking up Niskanen from Pittsburgh? Not sure what they would want but I feel like he could help our d-core for now.

Apparently they need to get rid of him to free up some cap space/room for young d-men.

More Karlssons = more Norris trophies = more jerseys sold = more money = more power in the NHL = Boston Bruins = Stanley Cup

Dat plan. I knew it.

Last year was the year I got my girlfriend into hockey. I knew they where going to fight because of Backstrom when I heard Bourques first game would be against Washington. It was her first big fight and I always thought it was hilarious because Hendricks lost in a fight of pride and justice.

They blew it when they let the Hurricanes draft Erik Karlsson the center last year.

Six years of crappy point production while leading your team is more a sign of concern than a feather in your hat.
