Pateryn doesn't have top-4 potential. He may make it as a top-6 regular, but top-4 is a huge reach.

What the hell? First Phoenix tries to poach Granlund now there's this absurd offer for Coyle? Pateryn? Seriously?

Montreal's 1 or 2 prospect oughta get condideration; anything less gets a hang up.

Pateryn gets a hit out on your GM. Fuggetaboutit.

Might be doable but Bulmer's value is really low.

I've been pretty open about how I'd love to get Tinordi on this team, but not at the cost of Coyle.

He's not even top 5 D prospect of MTL, and does not have Top 4 potential.

He's a right winger that brings size and skill. Possibly Greg Pateryn and a draft pick?

For the Wild to give up Coyle, the Habs are going to have to start with Beaulieu or Tinordi and work their offer up to something Minny would actually consider.

HUH???...Eller, Montreal's #3 centre last year, outscored Bozak, the Leafs #1 centre last year, while playing far less minutes per game and not much PP time, and was far superior defensively...Eller was fantastic last year...give your head a shake, lad...

Eller is a very solid #3 who's developing into a #2, after the year Halak just had the trade looks pretty damn good for the Habs.

Montreal would need to give up a prospect of Beaulieu's magnitude to even get Minnesota's interest.

Both Coyle and Beaulieu are 8.0 C's according to HF rankings... But I'll still take the center over the defensemen.

Unfortunately, Minnesota needs scorers and size (aka Coyle), so I don't think Coyle will go anywhere.

Try turning on the TV next time you watch a Habs game.

Whenever you are worried a fan from your teams fan base is going to have the dumbest post in a thread there is always a Leafs fan willing to bail them out.

I would guess Coyle has quite a bit more value.

Gallagher is hands down more valuable. Gallagher had 15g 13a +10 in 44 games.

Coyle had 8g 6a +3 in 37 games.

Tell me again why Coyle has quite a bit more value...

Coyle has more projected upside...Gallagher just finished 2nd in Calder voting in a very close vote...right now, Gallagher has more value...

Would Montreal trade Gallagher straight-up for Coyle?

Because I don't think Minnesota would do that trade.
