2013 Minnesota #2 Prospect

The race for the top prospect was closer than it has been in the past, but in the end Mikael Granlund makes it a four-peat. Granlund took the crown with 53.85% of the vote.

(I also propose in the future that the top ranked prospect should be awarded the Mikael Granlund Award. Four in a row is impressive.)

2013 HF Wild Prospect Rankings:
1. Mikael Granlund

New person in the poll this time around is Darcy Kuemper. As always, polls are open for 2 days.

Coyle, slightly ahead of Zucker. I think both have 30/30 ceilings, while Coyle is a bit safer and Zucker more "boom or bust".

Zucker #3.

After a bit of a hmmm... and a huhhhh... I voted Niederreiter.

I think they will reach the same points plateau eventually, but I think Niederreiter will be more of a goal scorer, and goal scorers are harder to find.

I'll take Nino. Younger and higher potential than Coyle. Just hope he uses his first 2 years as a learning experience.

EDIT: Voted for Coyle on accident. Would be much obliged if a mod could move a vote, if not, oh well.

Voted for Coyle. He's just too much of a beast.

He voted for Bulmer as the #1 last year, so I think he might actually be serious.

Coyle. I want to see Nino play before I start ranking him ahead of our "big 3" forward prospects.

1. Granlund
2. Coyle
3. Zucker
4. Dumba/Nino

Lots of faith in Neiderreiter without seeing him play... I'll be interested to see if anyone changes their tune once the season starts.

I still think there is a good chance he starts in the AHL. And there is nothing wrong with that.

IMO Kuemper, because I think he ends up a a top-tier goalie in the NHL. Which I feel is one of the most important things to have on any good team.

Mr.Coyle! Like many have said can't really vote for Nino yet because haven't seen him much. Maybe #3 but definitely not 1 or 2 at this point.

I think Nino has a higher ceiling so he's my choice as the #2. He's been one of my favorite prospects since he was drafted.
