(this might be considred trolling if I posted this on their board, but this is for Knights fans amusement only)
2014: 1st, 2nd(NIA), 5th, 8th, 9th
2015: 1st, 2nd (SBY), 5th (OTT), 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2016: 2nd, 6th, 6th (NIA), 7th, 9th, 10th, 10th (SAG)

Going to be a rough few years unless they can get a proper rebuild going!

Knights are not really loaded and will be even more depleted this year when they 'go for it'.
2014: 1st, 3rd, 3rd(BAR), 3rd(KGN), 5th, 5th(KGN), 6th, 7th, 8th, 10th
2015: 1st, 2nd(BAR), 4th(SAG), 4th(SBY), 6th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2016: 1st, 3rd, 4th, 4th(PBO), 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
I'm sure there are some Spits' fans who must be thinking: "K77, nothing has stopped you from trolling before!"
Personally, I really don't understand the great interest/obsession that some Knights fans have with the Spits' board. I guess, 'to each, his own'. You will get some good discussion from Hockey Legend11 and a few others, and I always welcome their thoughts here. But, do you guys really care that much about what goes on in Windsor? I'm much more interested in Kitchener and Plymouth although they don't seem to have a large contingent of posters here. Would you mind posting their picks?
And for those of you interested in the Spits, you can see some of their fans on t.v. Check out the Boston Pizza 'rib-neck' commercial!

I asked earlier how Herbst was doing?

Seems he and the Knights are hopeful he can give it a go this year

Yes, we do get a conditional second round pick for Andreas Athanasiou which still means we only have one in the next three years unfortunately.

Pro: The players will be surrounded by hockey 24/7. Full bore..no distractions.
Pro: More seeds of hatred planted throughout the CHL(I crave it)
Pro: Monta-spew's head may finally explode.

Con: Can't think of any

Sure

Rags:
2014: 1st, 3rd(SBY), 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2015: 1st, 5th, 6th, 6th (SBY), 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2106: 1st, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th

Ply:
2014: 1st, 2nd, 3rd(WSR), 5th, 5th (ERI), 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2015: 1st, 2nd(SAG), 4th, 5th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2016: 1st, 2nd, 3rd(SAG), 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th

Picks can be found at 'intheoradio'.

I for one love following the Spits board. Heres why: They are historically our biggest rival (as of late my despise of Kitchener has grown more though) - and thus at the present time I find pleasure in the state of their organization (just as they cheer to see us lose), and something you pointed out they have a few good posters who are pretty knowledgeable and like to talk hockey. So in actuality, you 'do' understand the interest as you yourself enjoy dealing with a few of their posters most likely for the reason I stated.

Most teams in a rebuild year can quickly recoup any missing picks with a few trades. In reality sometimes a rebuild year can be just as enjoyable for the fans if the see a "future" with the kids!

Well said. It is all about expectations. If you know your team is rebuilding, hope that your team makes the playoffs and maybe provides a first round upset but other than that latch on to some of the younger players and their development and cheer them on. This is a development league and that cant be forgotten.

I think with the recent moves by the new GM that you may not find pleasure much longer. Spott was a total disaster as a GM and even more so as a coach. Hiebert has signed some US players that a lot of scouts thought very very highly of and was thought as OHL unsignable and thats without Ryan McInnis who will be announced shortly.
IMHO love how these signings are under the radar from the ranting Montigue.

Doesn't fit into montagues current leagues inferiority complex rants.

He will not let facts play into his current Spew-a-thon.

Tune in Tues for news about London's new partnership with TPH/ Blyth Academy lol.

Well give him enough fodder to keep his delusional mind away from spewing no sense about others

No no....my comment was regarding the Spits, not the Rangers. The Rags have been competitive and have always been a threat lately. I agree that had there been somebody else behing the bench, they probably would have been more successfull just as Canada would have done better too. Spott is an idiot.
Rangers are good team, one that I respect.

The Rangers were a good team, this coming season season not so much
They only have 95 goals for returning from last yr projection wise, worst in the conf,2nd worst in the league ahead of NF which has 84 goals for returning
They have signed alot of youngsters, are in rebuild mold and will lean heavily on former Knight tender Teichman who had a nice yr with Missy this past season to keep them in games
Not having Murphy and Corrado will hurt them offensively from the back end
Alot of nice young talent but its going to take time in Ragtown

Dog days of summer, and waiting for trading to open up again, here are some interesting factoids
I did a statistical analysis of goals returning for all OHL teams projection wise including what I expected would be each teams returning O/As
London and Windsor were the only 2 teams in the Western conf that did not have all 3 O/As included,London in fact had none as I expect Griffith,Broadhurst and Sefton not to return
Windsor has only 1 that I included which was Giftopoulous
When the numbers were done London has 204 goals returning 2nd best in the conf and in the league, though with 3 O/As not incl and to be added if its 2 d men London would have the most in the Ohl
Conversely Windsor has 167 goals returning 5th in the conf and 7th o/a,and with 2 O/As possibly added to the mix much like the Knights and with Windsor settled on D,both would be forwards, their total would climb to over 200 putting them 2nd or 3rd o/a in the league
Saginaw to my surprise has 209 goals returning 1st in the conf and league, with all their expected O/As intact and as well any trades made by the all the teams were considered
regarding totals
Here are the numbers for the Western Conf
Sag-209
Ldn- 204
Gue- 193
Erie- 182
Win- 167
SSM-155
OSD-140
Ply- 128
Sarn-110
Kit- 95

Top 4 in the East Conf

King- 182
Nbay-177
Sud- 156
Barr- 141

Some teams could be affected should players such as Monahan,Laughton,Gaunce,Locke
Horvat and Domi not return,London for example if Horvat and Domi were to make it early
72 less goals returning would drop London to 7th in the conf and 12th O/A,same with Sag and Locke, his loss of 44 goals would put them 5th in the conf and 7th O/A
I for one dont think that Horvat and Domi will both leave early, would not be shocked if 1 sticks as I have said before, though like others I think Domi needs to dev further before moving on
While I am aware that all teams expect improvement for all returning players,i thought it would be interesting anyways to see what might lie ahead
Every team in the league has weaknesses going forward but some might have more if unexpected things occur re early player grad thats for sure

Does Bill Montague read these boards and TheNoof? Check out his latest video, he basically talks about the same thing and how he riled up some Knights fans.

This, by the way, also surprisingly sparked a reply from Dale in the LFP.

Bill probably has an account here

Do players and coaches also check out these forums?

This goes back to answering the question: why do knights fans pay so much attention to the Windsor board. Here is one....because guys like this have some great contributions to hockey talk, well done HL. I enjoyed reading this.
Dog days are right man, just hangin around waiting for any bit of hockey news to chew on.
I said in earlier posts that Saginaw will be the #2 seed come playoffs (behind London) and #3 I see being Guelph. These are ridiculously early predictions mind you, but my point is for those not paying attention they won't see Saginaw coming....those who are, know that they are going to ice a really good team. Checking their cupboards for draft picks shows that they are not thin either and will be able to compete for the money players at the deadline.
2014: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd(NB), 4th(PBO), 4th(KGN), 8th, 9th, 10th
2015: 1st, 2nd(SAR), 2nd(PLY), 3rd, 3rd(KIT), 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2016: 1st, 2nd, 3rd(SAR), 3rd(PLY), 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 8th(WSR), 9th
After typing this, actually they are stocked pretty nicely...I don't recall seeing such a top heaving cupboard other than Peterborough's!
This could be a big year for the Spirit, if they outbid everyone at the deadline with these picks and pick up the top forward and top dman available, dare I say that they could be the OHL champ and the Knights might have to go in the back door (a nightmare scenario given all the talk about the Knights deserving of hosting the cup).
For those wondering about the (NB) beside the 3rd round pick in 2014 that is North Bay...that will take some getting used to eh

Erie may have the most well-stocked cupboard, but I dont expect them to extensively use it this season.

2014:1st, 2nd, OS 2nd, OTT 2nd, 3rd, OS 6th, 7th, SAG 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2015: 1st, 2nd, SSM 2nd, 3rd, KIT 4th, 5th, WSR 5th, 6th, NIA 6th, 7th, OTT 7th, 9th, 10th
2016: 1st, 2nd, LDN 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th

But I agree, Saginaw is going to be tough this year, especially if they can add a good defenseman. Definitely going to be London's biggest challenge in the West.

But I agree, Saginaw is going to be tough this year, especially if they can add a good defenseman. Definitely going to be London's biggest challenge in the West.
Erie and Ptbo are loaded with picks. Petes have 9 2nds in next 3 years.

Hey Londonians, any updates on the Knights being on the road to the Memorial Cup show?

Erie's
2014:1st, 2nd, OS 2nd, OTT 2nd, 3rd, OS 6th, 7th, SAG 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2015: 1st, 2nd, SSM 2nd, 3rd, KIT 4th, 5th, WSR 5th, 6th, NIA 6th, 7th, OTT 7th, 9th, 10th

.
Let's compare. You have listed Eries above. Here again is
Saginaw's
2014: 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd(NB), 4th(PBO), 4th(KGN), 8th, 9th, 10th
2015: 1st, 2nd(SAR), 2nd(PLY), 3rd, 3rd(KIT), 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2016: 1st, 2nd, 3rd(SAR), 3rd(PLY), 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 8th(WSR), 9th

And here is
Peterborough:
2014: 1st, 2nd(WSR), 2nd(KIT), 2nd(SAR), 4th(KIT), 4th(LDN), 5th, 6th, 6th(WSR), 6th(KIT), 8th, 9th, 10th
2015: 1st, 2nd, 2nd(NIA), 2nd(BEL), 4th, 4th(OSH), 5th, 6th, 6th(NB), 7th, 7th(LDN), 8th, 9th, 10th
2016: 1st, 2nd, 2nd(BEL), 2nd(KIT), 2nd(MIS), 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th
2017: all draft picks in order and no additions
2018: all draft picks plus 2nd(BEL) and 3rd(LDN)

Now I cheated a bit and added two years with Peterborough as some trades are actually involving these picks nowadays, but just shows you in 2018 they have acquired a 2nd and a 3rd.
Don't know about you, but to me it appears Peterborough has the BEST stockpile of draft picks, and if they don't create a mini-dynasty in the East somebody messed up!

You indicate that you don't expect Erie to use their draft picks extensively this year....which might indicate why Erie stinks so bad. You have some decent talent on the team along with one of the league's best players, why wouldn't you make moves and acquire older good talent to surround the talent you have so that they can be competitive now? Why wait until McDavis is 18 or later....cuz he aint going to be in the league as a 19year old so you need to cash in on his talent while he is still there no?
Or is the plan to trade him to London for lots of riches and make it a continual rebuilding process
