If your going to make a list of important death metal bands and leave Suffocation and Carcass off of it that's bordering on heresy at my house.

The list is pretty good otherwise.

Two different bands but I like them both. The Cloud Nothings are really a pretty good all around band.
Hey man, I got the xx for my birthday last year. Big big fan. I have been listening to CN on your advice and it does sound like something's ears will fall for

Goon Squad, the cardboard castle, and our PA announcer to Edmonton for a few of Daryl Katz's gold chains and a Gagner bobble head?

I'd toss in the Ice Girls for a game worn Gretzky jersey.

I seriously have yet to hear anyone that likes this. I get that music is subjective and all so I'm not trying to trash anyone's tastes, it just feels so forced and you would think the entertainment capital wouldn't have to try to be junior varsity like this.

Nah, I'm just all over the map. But these guys are still my favorites.

And even better live. The AOL sessions version is amazing.

Since it is a music thread on a hockey board, have to mention Ben Scrivens' tweet from last night:

Liked the halftime drum solo from Bruno, but man would I have loved to see @GWARofficial impale somebody at the 50-yard-line. #WakeUpNFL
The world would be a better place with more GWAR.

It doesn't get any better than this. The NFL would rock with such a half-time show.

That's because I have yet to weigh in on this thread.

I realize that I am the only one who likes the song; maybe it's because I am also a soccer fan. Every Kings fan I spoke to at Dodger Stadium echoed the otherwise-unanimous sentiment that this is a terrible song, but I like it and that's all that matters

Vaughan is very similar to Hendrix minus the feedback and abit of flamboyance.
