Seriously. I get ESPN scorecenter notification yesterday "B Lillibridge doubled to left, A Romine scored." Who??

If I didn't recognize Romine I'd think it was the Yankees' minor league team.

Soriano is back in the Bronx. I'm happy I can take out my only Yankees jersey out and wear it again.

As far as the Yankees are concerned, its a moot point if they're paying him $20 mil next year or $30 mil because of front or backloading. You really can't use that as any form of support for his contract being less bad when its irrelevant to the team itself.
Regardless, you would much rather throw away $20m than $30m.

And of course Pujols may still end up getting back to what he once was, and thus killing my entire argument.

I was actually devastated when we initially traded Soriano for A-Rod. Good to have him back.

A friend brought this up the other day - if not for Aaron Boone tearing his ACL in the off-season basketball game he was playing, A-Rod likely would never be a Yankee, all of his ******** that he has brought along wouldn't be the Yankees problem, Soriano would likely still be a Yankee and would have still likely have been playing 2B which would have meant different plans for Cano and his development

Crazy how much Boone impacted the Yankees future

Since we have Soriano back in the fold, can we just forget about A-Rod ever happening to the Yankees?

A-Rod at one time wasn't a ******. But I thank him for 2009. He may not have been the WS MVP, but if there was a playoff MVP, he would have won it. I thought he got robbed of the ALCS MVP.

Yanks bring back Soriano to spark the offense...are getting crushed and shut out 6-0. Worthless

Of course they decide to show up in the last few innings of the game.

Only because they were down so bad the scrubs were allowed to pitch. Tonight was an embarrassment.

Soriano really boosted the offense...

They are just terrible. What a disgrace for Mo's last year.

I mean, its to be expected when your starting 1B, 3B, SS, and CF are all out.

not many teams will succeed with that.

That's $80.5m on the DL.

It's nice to see Nova back and pitching well.

They are competitive. They're over .500 and they're still in contention for the 2nd wildcard.

Scoring is something both of my teams have been unable to do in 2013.
