Canadiens Express?

Hey guys. I'm going to the movies tonight, which I don't want to do, and I'll miss the Habs game on RDS. I noticed that there is a program on from 11 til midnight called "Canadiens Express". I was just wondering what this was. Is it only highlites of the game? Or is it the entire game? Do they manage to get the entire game shown (no commercials, skip whistles etc...)

Thanks.

The game in 60 minutes, no commercial adds. And they cut a bit of the boring stuff as well.

They show like 80% of the game, including replays of nice plays or goals. Only commercials are for intermissions. Pretty good if you ask me.

so am I actually missing alot of the actual game? Of the 60 minutes of play, how much will I actually get to see?

And do they say the final score before it starts? I hope not lol because I'd like to watch it without knowing the final score.

Awesome! I get to watch the game then!

My girlfriend sleeps over on Thursdays...The only thing on TV from 8-10 is the OC and Greys Anatomy...

But this way, I get to watch Smallville AND the game! And then Futurama and Seinfeld! What a sweet night it will be!

You might get the score from the bottom of the screen... when they display the scores of all games, they display it in real time.

You'll see between 80 or 90% of the game, which IMO isn't all that bad. Especially with the boring stuff cut.

My girlfriend wanted to go last night and we didn't end up going, so we're going to go tonight.

And I'm sure some of you know it's just better to do what she wants to do sometimes

Like sometime PP Canes Habs win the face off and clear the zone. You wont see that it'll start when the puck is behind the net... stuff like that so you dont miss much of anything...

I like that because I can see everygoal/nice play in 60 minutes

Well you should have gone last night when there was no game. No sympathies from me.

I am the King when it comes to organizing a schedule to fit in watching the hab games.

Well, we were supposed to double date with friends, but the guy was sick, so we didn't end up going.

Not my fault

I don't think they show the ticker during Canadiens Express.

You miss alot of te faceoffs and scrums, which I feel detracts from the experience. They do show replays of the nice goals and stuff though...

A hockey game is 3 periods of 20 minutes each. That makes 60 minutes. The only thing they really cut out is parts of the game where absolutely nothing is going on. I guess that's to make way for about 3 minutes of commercials between periods. So really you're missing maybe 6 minutes of the whole game. It's a really good show.

If you have different screen zoom functions on your tv, you can select one so that those "tickers" aren't visible - I do that whenever I don't want to see any spoilers.

If your driving to the Movies ,and have the radio on make sure you don't hear the score on the way home.

Assuming this Canadians Express is on RDS as well?

I really need to get digital cable, subscribe to the sports pack, then pay to add on RDS. Seems like a lot of hassle just to get RDS - I won't watch it other than for the Habs. No habs on TVU tonight.
