Patrick O' Sullivan

I have a few questions about him. If you could compare his game to an NHL player who would it be? Style? What's this kids potential? Can he score 30-35 goals in the NHL? How sure are you that he will not be a bust?

Pretty sure, he's definitely going to be a top 6 talent, especially with Frolov...

30-35 goals in the future is pretty obtainable but not for a year or two

He's dead to me

You can never say never. But he won't bust. At the very least he will score goals. Enough that he will always have a job in the NHL. The only question is how complete will the rest of his game be. And by 'rest of his game' I mean defense. Because he can also set up his teammates. He doesn't have size and he's not tough, but he's no china doll. He plays with too much skill and too much passion to bust. I'd be very surprised if he never scores 30 in a season.

O'Sullivan is tailor made for the new NHL - lots of skill: hands, speed, playmaking, he has it all. He also seems pretty passionate about hockey.

sushinsky you're actually wrong...

pavol told his agent last year he wanted to go to select teams, list of like 3 or 4 and minnesota wasn't on the list. He's said that, this question has already been brought up.

He was never considering coming hear last year.

Why would any one-dimensional player want to play for Jaques Lemaire? He'd be a living nightmare for Demitra. He'll be gone soon, because he's not going to last under him.

As for O'Sullivan, terrible. That was Minnesota's one UNTOUCHABLE prospect, or what was thought to be untouchable. I would have never given up someone who scored 90 points as an AHL rookie for Demitra.

LA's future is looking really bright.

Okay, that's one defense I heard. But then the question has to be asked, what has changed? We still had Gaborik back then. So did we trade for someone who's going to be miserable here? Did ownership give Riser the go ahead to up the best offer by 500K/year. Did Demitra's agent tell him, "yeah, but just so you know, minny will give you an extra 500k....you have a friend there don't you?"

Because that's exactly what should've happened.

ok buddy thats why rolston had a career high in pts here. Gaborik ahd 38 goals and missed almost a month of the season and Bouchard is taking off.

Demitra is only going to add to that.

The reason they don't score much is cuz of their low payroll and lack of talent not so much their system. They scored more then 10 other teams LAST YEAR, with a hurt gabby, no demitra and with the lowest payroll in the league.

next...
