Full Length Games on Google

For those unable to watch the games, Google video has full length games available (albeit, they are posted days after the actual game) at

http://video.google.com/videosearch?...en&page=1&so=1

They also have some classic games.

That's a huge step foward for the NHL, it will help fans everywhere esp. our pals in Europe.

It's Google Night in Canada
Delayed NHL games available on Internet

CanWest News Service; CP contributed to this report
Published: Friday, November 03, 2006
Welcome to Google night in Canada.

Full-length, regular-season National Hockey League games now are available for free viewing at Google's video website.

The catch? You can't see games until 48 hours after they air on television.

Fans can log on to Google's video website on the Internet, www.video.google.com/nhl.html and select a team.

WOW!

This is pretty neat. I was just watching the Conference Finals Game 7 1979 Montreal - Boston...

Think of the players on our team back then and where they ended up:

Jacques Lemaire
Larry Robinson
Serge Savard
Bob Gainey
Ken Dryden
Doug Risebrough
Rejean Houle
Mario Tremblay

and many others, didn't Napier become GM as well? Wow!

I was actually surprised tempo and speed in that game. It was great experience to watch Gainey, Robinson, Lafleur & co in their prime. And of course Bowman behind the Habs bench. Even then Gainey had "many moods"
