I'm sorry but no way is Armia a better prospect than Risto right now

There's no way there are any absolutes (like the one you just proposed) in any of these next few polls. A case can be made for several prospects at each spot.

I missed the first poll but my choice has won anyway.

#2 is a hard decission. But I go with Zemgus. I just think that he will gonna have a great NHL carreer had he's got the best work ethic of all our prospects. He is gonna have a Kesler/Hecht/Pavelski-esque carreer and at worst he'll be a hard working 3rd line center.

he may not become a stud but he will bee a good piece of a winning team.

I think zemgus will most likely reach his potential. Ristolainen, Zaradov, Armia or even Grigorenko are more kinda unsure projects.

How is there no way? There is a way, hence many people reasonably believing that he is in fact a better prospect right now.

Honestly these rankings are far to hard at this moment. I think this year will help loads in terms of determining where everyone stands. Anyone from 1-6 may end up being our best player this year, we have no clue! And I freaking love that! So excited to watch these players develop and hopefully turn into studs. I voted Grigs at number one due to strictly his potential even though I prefer Girgensons to reach his potential. I voted Armia here because he is the youngest player to get 100 pts in SM-Liiga which is pretty impressive. Armia is also a sniper where he gets nearly as many goals as he does assist, sometimes more. He is a similar prospect to Vanek in that way.

I voted Risto, but there is ABSOLUTELY an argument for Armia here. Armia has all the tools to become a near-elite winger in the NHL. He already has the shot.

Pysyk. I love that guy. Add Cat.

Also feel he is still underrated. Not as much as before last season when most of the people hadn't really seen him before.

Armia, add Makarov.

(That was tough. We have 1st line/ top pairing potential at multiple spots)!

Went with Armia, add Cat.
I was reading through the prospect threads from years back, and I saw a lot of negative first impressions of Pysyk. (i.e. Dennis Persson version 2) Going to have a tough time choosing number 3.

Going with Armia. Skill wise he's the best player I've seen in years of going to the development camps. Not basing my decision on that, but it did leave a lasting impression on me. I think absolute high-end potential Grigorenko tops him, but IMO Armia is a safer bet to become a very good player. If their teams were switched (ie. If Armia played in the more accessible Q and a handful of games with the Sabres, Grigorenko in Europe) I feel Armia would undoubtedly be considered Buffalo's best prospect.

Add Catenacci

I recognize the ceiling isn't as high as Armia, but I had to pick Zemgus here. There's something to be said about a kid who won't stop working until he's the best.

Pysyk
add Ruhwedel

Both these guys saw time in a sabres sweater last year and performed well. From the little of Rudy we saw he seems to be kinda underrated around here - not that people think badly of him, just that he's kinda left out and forgotten about when people are talking about what are D corp might look like next season. He kinda came out of no where, but I think he's pretty equivalent to Pysyk in terms of potential.

Surprised Armia's got as big a lead on Risto as he does.
