TSN - Sergei Markov

"Moments later, Koivu took a pass from Sergei Markov near center ice, made a nifty move on Whitney and maneuvered into the slot, then beat Ward with a wrist shot for a power-play goal at 12:29."

hahahaha

yeah...there are that many eric's erik, take your pick, erick, on the cane's team, it's annoying filtering through it to find Staal's name in the scoresheet for the +/- for a hockey pool. But damn awesome game by the habs !!

I was waiting for someone to post something about this. I noticed it as well. So many Russians - they just can't keep the names straight!

Kovalev and Perezhogin don't have the same given name. One is Alexei, the other is Aleksandr. Their nicknames (in Russia) would be Alyosha and Sascha, respectively.
