Funny guy. Of course not. We signed Yaya Sanogo for free anyways! Who needs Suarez :sarcasm

Justin Mapp also named to the All-Star Team. Will not play tonight though.

It's a part of the previous CBA. Many contracts have bonuses for All Star participation, so the PA pushed for 30+ names on the team.

Mapp and the others can expect a nice check from the league for their trouble, but there's no way any of them are playing tonight.

I came up with a trade proposal. Inspired by the lovefest between Di Vaio, Thierry Henry, and Bernier. On RDS, Henry, says that Di Vaio is great, always easy to find. Di Vaio says Henry is a world class player and that he loves playing with him. Also, Henry and Bernier are already bros, (Martinique, Haiti), they respect each other, and talk sometimes.

Meanwhile, Felipe is having a terrible year. He is weak, overdribbles, lacks vision, is selfish and sometimes is the worst forward on the field.

Here is my idea : Felipe for Henry ? Felipe is young and might bounce back, but Henry would surely solidify us as contenders, as his chemistry with Di Vaio and his world class skills are incredible. It's a now or never type of year. And there's always a way to scout guys like Felipe.

Nice. Than I'm for it too ! It's a good deal for NY because they can always sign new DP and Felipe could wind up being useful and spectacular, he showed great things last year.

Thing is, NYRB are in a close race with us and a few others for the top spot, why would they trade us their best player?

They'd never do that deal. Henry is invaluable both on the field and marketing-wise. Meanwhile, there's plenty of Felipes in this world. They already can sign DP since they have an open spot.

Totti is dominating the All Star game. Just wow.

On another note, this is the most running I have ever seen Henry do in years

Totti is really an incredible player...making some beautiful passes and hes really having fun out there

hoping the MLS all stars manage to get a goal...they haven't been bad but they can definitely be better

It's hard when it's the first game you play together.

Anyone catch what Garber said at halftime that was important? I only caught the last 30 seconds of it.

Bernier is playing good in this 2nd half. Unfortunately, AS Roma is just too much..

I think MLS clubs would do better than the All Star Team, just because they're used to play together.

i think so to

bernier played a great game..made a lot of nice passes and controlled the ball really well

nice to see the MLS score a goal at the end

Roma really came to play today so overall the all stars can't be to upset with the result as they played a pretty good game

These all stars are too selfish and have no chemistry which is ok. Typical MLS last minute goal.

NY is #20

Garber is talking about 4 more on top of that.

Miami and Orlando are probable, especially with the Orlando twitter account promising today to join MLS by 2015.

The other 2 are anyone's guess:

-San Antonio has a prosperous team, an ambitious owner and an fine expandable stadium, so its not far below Florida's on the list.

-Sacramento is making a lot of noise, but its hard to say if its all hot air or actual substance.

-Cosmos is not impossible, but nothing about their present situation suggests they'll progress. It seems more probable to me that they will crash and burn.

-People in Atlanta, Carolina, Detroit, Minnesota and Las Vegas have made noises about MLS, but nothing serious.
