Not sure if you guys follow Korac on twitter, but that picture of Bollig with the cup in Busch Stadium really grinds my gears.

Not on twitter, it just annoys me. And from the sound of that pic I don't want to be on there.

Hopefully Wainwright can stop the bleeding tonight... Complete game shutout?

Really? I actually kind of like it. I think it's awesome a St. Louis boy won a Cup and got a picture at Busch. If it was at Wrigley, that's a different story.

It's cool for him for sure, I just don't like that a Blackhawk brought the cup to Busch first, I hate the Hawks

Yeah, I wouldn't want it to happen again, but I think it's cool just once.

I can't wait until September to see Tavares in the big leagues. We don't really have anywhere for him to play, but I'm sure Matheny will get him at-bats if he's clicking.

Didn't know where else to say this so i figured this thread would be ok.

If anybody's interested. I work at a memorabilia store in the chesterfield mall. We sell tons of baseball, football and hockey stuff. from cards, to pucks, balls, jerseys and plaques etc... everything signed except for most cards lol. We primarily sell blues and cardinals stuff.. But we got a lot of autographed brett hull pucks, and a ton of old and current blues... even got a Jamie benn and a few bobby hull pucks... I'm thinking you won't get a better deal on some of this stuff any where else... especially hockey because these guys here don't know hockey to well so some of the stuff is under priced like for guys who didn't/ don't play for the blues.

If you guys have any questions about the store just send me a PM.

So when will the Cardinals next get a win without scoring 13+ runs?

Lets see if he can start going deep in some games, but he is much better as a starter. Our rotation for the future is going to be really good and really cheap.

Id be in favor of trying Rosenthal in the rotation too. Waino, Kelly, Miller, Rosenthal and Lynn/ Martinez. Hard to beat that as a starting 5, but it will never happen because most teams want a lefty in the rotation.

Rosenthal will be the closer of the future and you forgot Wacha. We can make some crazy moves in the future since we have all the starters under control and majority of the main pieces on offense taken care of as well. We should have a couple more championships over the next decade.

Waino, Miller, Wacha, Martinez, Kelly is absolutely disgusting in a couple of years. That's 08 Phillies good if each of the pitchers stays healthy and continues to grow, and could conceivably become Mid 90's Braves good if someone makes a jump. I can't believe I am so fortunate to be a fan of this organization. The Detroit Red Wings and the St. Louis Cardinals are the best run organizations in professional sports.

My personal watching: I have about 5 episodes of season 5 left to be up to date. I'll probably pick up the new ones in a week or two at the rate I'm watching.

I've started to wonder how the series will end. I think maybe Jessie is going to kill Walt.

Tough circumstance for him though. Shelby gets drilled on the 2nd pitch of the game and he has no time to get ready to pitch a day earlier than normal. That's tough for any starter. I'm not a big fan of his either, but he's your typical 3-4 that you hope reaches .500.

Don't really care about the game much. You're not usually going to win if your starter only gets through 2 pitches. My only concern is with Miller. Hopefully it's just bruised. Anything messing with a pitcher's throwing elbow makes me nervous.

No I totally understand where you are coming from. I've just never been a Westbrook fan. Always though Kelly was better. I'm just frustrated to see this team play so poorly the last two weeks. I'm really hoping Shelby is ok. We're going to need him for the stretch run.

I think the Jane thing has to be mentioned as a prerequisite for your theory.

After many episodes ignoring it, with 12 minutes to go in the last episode Walt is seen getting another MRI scan. This is not just some random filler; cancer plays a factor in the final 8 episodes.

The ricin is still in play. Holly dying?
