You guys are so misinformed...

The average "fit" male has a body fat of 14-17%.

Elite athletes are between 6-13%. 10 is right in the middle of that range. Anything below 6% is physiologically unhealthy.

yeah, if you're a normal dude then 10% body fat is pretty damn good. especially if you live in North America, where obesity abounds.

it's within the range of normal for a pro athlete.

With the exception of Stamkos, most athletes spend 1 summer with Roberts and then the rest is on their own with frequent contact with Gary. He sets them
up for their career with how yet should train, eat etc.

Not a suprise he isn't with Gary.

Dustin Byfuglien seems to be pretty dominant offensively. Just sayin. There's analyzing, then there's leaf fans and Kadri.

....making 10.5% decidedly average for a professional athlete. How did you just counter anything I said?

This is old news anywho..it was said he was training with him when kadri said talks were going good. Kadri is also skating with barb underhill to work on his skating.

If hes getting more on ice practice this summer that is fantastic and hopefully he has retained nutritional education from roberts.

This posters are on a computer, you think they'd have the time to at least look up body fat percentage on wikipedia before posting..

You can be a twig at 10% if you have no muscle mass.

FYI, hockey players aren't 'ripped' like NBA or soccer players are. They carry more mass on them and as a result they have higher body fat. 10% is just fine. People whined and *****ed about Kadri's body fat last year and he went on to have 44 pts in 48 games. I'll take that kind of production from a supposed 'fat boi' any day.

I really don't get how people can call Kadri fat and not Kessel.

If Kadri is fat, Kessel is obese, but no one complains about that.

Bingo. I wouldn't get hung up on the 2% between 8% and 10% either. That's well within normal body variation.

My buddy trained with roberts last summer, said kadri looked pudgy. Hopefully things have changed and the guy put on some real weight. Kid would be a beast if he got close to 200

the kid was a beast last year and probably weighed 180, judging by the fact that he is 186 lbs now.
