So in a 7 team conference, it would have been 6 games each vs the other 6 teams in the conference (36 games), and 2 games each vs the other 23 teams in the league (46 games). 46+36 = 82 game full season.

That plan was voted down by the NHLPA however.
It all depending on which conference you were in.

7 team conference:

46 H-H interconference
36 within conference...thus 6 per team

8 team conference

44 H-H interconference
38 within conference...3 teams 6 , 4 teams 5

I think a best we go 6-9 top open the season OTL/SHL counting as a loss.
Personally given what I seen last year I think the wins will come against playing the west coast teams and we will loose to Tampa, Florida most of the time.

Jame our best bet is to pick a weekend where we go to a home game and the other game we watch at a bar

I'm going on notice to this site I will instead refer to the divisions as Pacific, Smythe, Adams, and Patrick.

NOVEMBER:

Wed. 27th vs MTL

Fri 29th vs. TOR

Sat. 30th @ NJ

Since I'll be in town for Thanksgiving (28th??)...maybe I'll go to the Habs and Leafs games, and we can watch the Devils game at a bar?

Though that takes away one of my in-person games at the Rock, it's a sacrifice I'd make!

There aren't even back-to-backs with both at home any time during a week. Crazy.

There are fewer Friday night home games in general. Probably a reason why there are no double home date weekends.

I'll be at the Vancouver game. That may not be the only game I go to, but for now it's the only one I know I'll be at.

I'll hit the game in Chicago when I go visit my sister, and then the Tampa game in March when I go down to Florida to visit my little brother in Winter Park

I'm going to be in Buffalo two weeks after that....I'd want to spread the trips out more.

Wow. After reading closer into it....Thanksgiving weekend is the last time we have Friday/Saturday games for the whole season? Wow.

I'll miss Nov. 30th @NJ...the only time we play at the Rock, unfortunately.

I'll be at:

Oct. 15th @ NYI
Halloween @ NYR
March 15th @ NYI
April 10th @ NYR

12 of the final 17 on the road after what could be a purge at the deadline? That's tanktastic!

Opening up in Detroit.

As mentioned, Boston and Toronto are the two we play five times this year. Boston comes here three times and we go to Toronto three times.

Circle October 28th when Dallas comes to town. It'll be the first time we play against Lindy and his first trip back. Pommer comes back October 14th. So two familiar faces back for the first time very early. I imagine both will receive a warm welcome.

We'll be done with both Anaheim and Los Angeles by mid-November. Weird.

I like how each team visits each arena at least once a season though. Gives fans the chance to see teams from the other conference every year.

Does anyone know the breakdown of Value/Bronze/Silver/Gold? I'm trying to convince someone to split season tickets.

Not sure where to post this, but is there any posters living in the denver/colorado area and attend games? I moved out here in March, and would like to get tickets for when the sabres are in town. I noticed for a few avs games last year, we picked up some tickets for really cheap. What I was wondering, is it always like that? should I wait out buying tickets for sabres and go stubhub route for cheap tickets, or just spend the money right away and get them directly through the team, ticketmaster or whatever. Thanks in advance for anybody's input
