Bryan Marchment? Where'd the dirty play go?

Is it just me, or now that Marchment is in Toronto, has he stopped his dirty play, or has he just not had the opportunity to show it off? He's looking like a damn good acquisition to me, and I'm very glad we picked him up. Could it be that he just wanted to be in Toronto and now he's not quite as angry of an old man?

I've seen a couple of really dirty plays from him. He still pos out his leg once in awhile, though he isn't as bad as he used to be.

I for one wish he would play mean and nasty like he used to. Not to the extent of sticking his knee out on guys, but he has to play it rough, or he is ineffective.

I was wondering the same thing. But at least he is a better player than the one I was expecting because I thought his play in Colorado was quite a bit less than his Edmonton days. I don't remeber too much from his San Jose days other than the odd play.

Funny, I thought Marchment has been pretty mediocre.

He throws the odd hit, but is this guy really worth 2 million?? Give me a break.

I've watched him in san jose a couple years and the guy just is not as dirty as he use to be. He will go for the killer hip check but or blue line smash but thats about it. Over the years it seems his reputation has grown but his play has kind of gotten less dirty. Maybe thats just me

Fatherhood has made Bryan take it down a notch in the dirty play department.
