There's an interview with Staal saying he's 100 percent ready to go

"completely healthy". Even if his eye isnt 100 percent, he obviously feels he can still play at his high standards, which is a big upgrade to what he said before. He also said he sees no issues.

The entire thing is a contradiction.

"Im completely healthy, except for that thing where I cant see out of my eye like I used to."

100% ready to go is quite misleading.

He didnt say anything at all about not being able to see out of gis left eye. He clearly can and doesn't envision it being a problem by him stating hes ready to go. He admitted he wasnt ready to go last year but wanted to try for the team. now hes saying hes ready for camp.

If both games are "away games" when and how do we Ranger fans get tickets at far value instead of buying them from Icelander/Debbie fans who jack the price up X 10???

it is stupid the Rangers are the away team since the game is being held in New York City.. how does this make any sense

Devils/Islanders and Rangers Season Ticket Holders get first choice.

After that it's unclear

It makes sense because the Devils and Islanders are hurting for the home game revenues much, much more than the Rangers.

Don't know why any Ranger player would complain considering we still get 41 home games + these 2.

MSG loses their tax break if they have any home games in the city not in MSG. So yeah, it makes sense.

The Isles and devils do not get any additional revenue. The NHL buys the home date from the teams and the revenues are then split equally amongst the 30 teams. Both teams are getting a flat fee up front to play.

If you are not a season ticket holder, you won't. Season ticket holders of the 3 teams get tickets. League gets most of the rest. They will have a "public on-sale", but it will be bogus. Might have a lottery for non-season ticket holders like the Wings and Leafs did for the Winter Classic in Ann Arbor.

From what I remember hearing, the Rangers wanted to be away both games (even though we will be the majority of fans) so they have their 41 home games.

I get why it was done. But from a fan point of view it is a bit absurd that the Rangers are the away team both games.
