he's had his chances, just hasnt buried them, he could easily have a goal in each of the games so far. most noteably that wide open net he put off the far post in the first game against edmonton.
that seems to be the problem quite often for calgary so far. they have come so close on a number of occasions and just havent been able to finnish. at least were getting the chances though, so i guess it'll come around eventually
I think so. I figure Huselius could have a very good year once he gets a little confidence. He has been close to scoring, and he has sent people in on good chances several times.
He outperformed guys like Forsberg, Hossa & Näslund in the SEL during the lock-out. He´s got so much potential, but always fails to show it in the NHL.
Only Zetterberg was better during the lockout btw.

not a mistake at all, even if he didnt play half as good as he has. we only lost montador, who was a decent up and comer, but with the defensive depth we have/had last year, that was a no brainer for sutter to pull the trigger on.

I wouldn't really pay too much attention to his stats in the SEL compared to guys like Forsberg etc. For them, they're trying to stay in shape, make their money and just be ready for when the season starts, where as Huselius always has something to prove, to all those critics that say he's very inconsistent or that he needs a #1 centre to be effective.
Huselius has the skill to be a top 6 forward, but he desperately needs a true #1 playmaker as his centreman to be a threat out there.
What line was he on last year? (btw i've been a fan of Huselius since day 1 as a panther, so don't take this as flaming or trolling).
It seems like Huselius has slipped into the doghouse now, seeeing only 11-12 minutes a game, after being over 20 minutes several times earlier this year.
He hasn't really played with Tanguay yet. I think their two styles could be very complimentary. Stick them with someone who should be able to score (kobasew, langkow) and things could happen.
