Goalie coaching and goalie performances

I always found that goalie coaching was very easy to overlook when one wants to understand goaltending successes and failures, be it a specific goalie or a team's history of goaltending. I mean, Allaire was part of Roy's successes, as much as Essensa is part of the Bruins' successes in the net as of late.

But how much of the performance of a goalie depended on the goalie coach (as opposed to the systems or the teams in front of the goalies) from a historical perspective?

I knew that goalie coaches sometimes (or perhaps often) communicated poorly with the rest of the coaching staff if there are no former goalies in the coaching staff of a team, though.
