Kyle Woodlief and the Red Line Report

Greetings everyone. I found this little tidbit that Kyle Woodlief wrote about Jeff Carter. Glad he isn't a scout.

Jeff Carter Has all the physical tools but the sum of the parts is less then impressive. Admittedly the team has struggled early, but you don't expect a kid in his draft year to pout and give up so quickly. Physically he can still dazzle you, but no enthusiasm and no effort and no gut check equals no first round.

He does consider himself a scout and RedLine is labelled an "independant scouting service". Lots of people just love them and they've got quite a few customers on the HF boards. So yes, these guys are scouts. You can just be VERY GLAD they aren't Flyers' scouts

Personally, I think RedLine is a piece of trash and have said so numerous time for over two years but that has offended many people.

The sad thing is the publication is pretty costly. Some people just love to get robbed and they keep asking for more :p

He did end the year on the list at 16 overall. The projected him to be a strong 2nd line center on a contending team.
Compared him to Joe Nieuwndy/Radek Bonk.
Yes I am one of the people who Vlad accuses of wasting his time reading it.
Point is look at more than just one comment from early in the season when he wasn't playing well.

You'd have to be an idiot or ******* for the sake of publication sales to bury a player with language that Redlief used. He (Redlief) got called out clearly and Dr. H. you're nuts to defend it.
