Columbus' arena deal goes through 2039...

I know, I mean they're going to be one of the teams that's illogically brought up as a relocation candidate when they're not going anywhere in reality.

As I said, for at least the next five years, it was the Coyotes or nobody. Now it looks like nobody until at least 2018.

Apparently he was the DoO after lockout #2, back when they starting calling obstruction and what not. So maybe he helps bring that back.

He was one of the better refs in the league. One dreadful call doesn't change that.

Hopefully he'll help get the game back to being called as the rulebook indicates it should be, like IU suggested.

At least according to the topic on the BoH, sounds like the owners of the Philadelphia 76ers are planning on buying the Devils.

People thought Kerry Frasier was a good ref too. I thought he should have been pumping gas instead.

Fans always hate the refs, it's just part of the game.

Blackhawks fans especially dislike Walkom (for good reason). Doesn't make him bad at his job.

The three-time Stanley Cup champion New Jersey Devils are for sale and a deal is expected before the start of the NHL season. A person familiar with the negotiations says several groups are vying to buy the financially strapped franchise and there is a chance a deal might be done quickly. The source spoke to The Associated Press Thursday and requested anonymity because the negotiations between Devils owner Jeff Vanderbeek and the groups are still active.

The Devils aren't.

I always thought Walkom was one of the league's better refs. As said, just because he made one godawful call doesn't change the fact that he was a good official.

They were talking about Pietrangelo on That's Hockey...just how he still isn't signed but might be loathe to holdout b/c it's an Olympic year and it will be to his benefit to get playing right away to improve his chances of making the team.

Unless he's asking for something astronomical (and you never know, but he doesn't seem like the type who would act stupid) the Blues are idiots if they're hardballing him...according to capgeek they currently have $7.6m in space...and I can't imagine he'd want more than Doughty...who got $7m aav for 8 years (which includes 3 UFA years).

Too bad the cap went down and teams have so little space. I'd love to see someone give him a huge offer sheet at a bad term (5 years?) knowing the Blues will inevitably match.

Pietrangelo asks for the moon by the reports that came out. No wonder about that

Hossa is an even better producer than I thought he is. I'm not saying PPG tells the whole story, but he's ahead of some pretty good players in this example.

He probably wants something very similar. 6 years, $42 mil....something like that.

I polled some friends about which of these 5 wingers are the most HHoF worthy and this is what they came up with. What do you guys think?
