Who's the next forward prospect to make the team

Last year it was Gallagher and Galchenyuk.

Who's next?

Collberg?
McCaron?
Hudon?
someone else?

Don't forget we're talking forwards here.

Does Leblanc count? If so, him since Gio will most likely be gone and we don't have a ton of RWers in prospect pool.

he's still not a full-time habs so he counts.

Hmm, I think Dumont only this season. Next one will be tricky, maybe Collberg or Hudon.

Great another smurf

But I don't see anyone making it other than maybe Leblanc or Beaulieu

Yo, forwards.

Dumont will be our 13th forward, you don't need Parros when you're playing Washington or Detroit.

Before you call another one of my habitants a "smurf" please indicate your height in real life before stating that. Likely YOU are a smurf as well, if not then some 6-foot 140lb praying mantis, so I wouldn't be calling a hab a "smurf" ya know.

Anyways, I think it'll be Collberg. He was expected to become a top 6 winger within few years on his draft day. If Gio goes, Collberg will likely replace.

Beaulieu on the first line with A Galchy and Max Pac.

Unless someone is moved I think our 12-13th forward are Moen and Parros, we have them plus Prust and White.

I like Dumont just no room really

What is it with midgets anyway.....if they score and we win games who cares.
I know everyone makes a big deal about size.... **{we need balance}}

Because you need a balance, and we don't have that, we might have the smallest top9 team in modern history, with 5 guys at 5"11 and under, 4 of which are in the 5'7 5'9 range.

Even worse, they are all on one side, at RW, Gionta, Briere, Gallagher are all on the ride side, heck Thomas who is most likely would be one of the first call ups is another undersized RWer

And while having 1-2 undersized players isn't a bad thing, specially Gionta, Gallagher type, you need bigger guys to complement them.

I will go with Thomas too. He is a goal scorer and if your top 9 gets hurt you need to replace them with goal scorers and not grinders. Besides who says one of the small players you listed is not the player he is replacing due to injury.

Dumont. Very outside chance of Leblanc... he would need to suddenly recapture his form of more than a year ago all at once, and it hasn't looked like that's too likely to happen, it'll probably be more of a process for him to get back on track.

Without camp having started yet, it's hard to really tell.

Based on what we've seen/know I would agree that Louis Leblanc is probably the next to make the team, contingent on him having an above average camp. I think it helps that he has NHL experience. He really has to have an amazing camp to make the team out of the gate though. I really think that if he isn't here by the new year, they'll put him on the trade block and recoup anything for him. He'd probably fetch another bust or a mid-round pick.

This is a hard question. It's really up to the player as the habs are not desperate to rush there young stars.

Leblanc or Dumont (depending if Dumont is a prospect at this point)

If he returns back to form - LeBlanc.

If not, Collberg. And after that DLR.

Dumont will be the extra forward, I'd consider him making it when he has a steady role.
