The guy's timing was certainly off. Writing that Savard is overrated when he just scored 8 points in two games and was NHL player of the week.

I never really understand people's infatuation with tagging people "overrated" anyway. It's all subjective.

Well, being a Thrashers fan, I saw alot of him. Savard is not over-rated, he just needs to be in the right situation. If Savard is able to make passes to scorers who will put it in the net, hes awesome. He makes really great passes and sees the ice well. However if he is supposed to be a scorer, he simply isnt meant to do that and he struggles. It seems that your coach has found what Savard is supposed to do, he'll be great for you guys getting 60ish assists and 20ish goals.

Yeah, you must miss having him centering Ilya Kogaljerk! Nevermind... no you don't.

Ilya is one serious hockey player... he hitting more this year?

Pretty poor article.
How do you call Drury under-rated? He is known as a great hockey player no matter where he goes bt both fans and players alike.
I have a hard time believing that Mr. Montgomery has any hockey knowledge at all.

Drury is an underrated player. We know who he is mostly because of his BU connection. Across the league he pretty much flies under the radar.

I guess your right when it comes to fan appreciation.
But he certainly gets the attention of other teams and coaches...

The front office really hit two homeruns witht the Savard and Chara signings. I love his tenacity and offensive skills. I believe DKH made a Linesman reference...I don't think he's THAT feisty, but he's not afraid to get in your face.
