Darz Cup V. 1

Yes yes, I know... I also don't generally do polls, but I figured that some of us may have had different opinions as to who deserved the Molson Cup. I think that after each month we should award a 'Darz Cup' (named after the great and legendary poster Darz, who has been here since I started coming around, which is way back, and he was a veteran then too) to the best Canadien.

So vote. And if you have another name to add, start a new poll.

Is this the award for the Hab player who made the stupidest mistake this past week?

Did Aebisher burn himself with a fire poker or somthin'?

I have no trouble with Aeby getting the cup, but the system really favours goaltender.

My Darz cup candidate of October: Chris Higgins

Oooh, harsh. The Darz Cup should be awarded to the player with the least chest hair. I vote for Darz.

Careful now, Darz has been using super-heated dihydrogen monoxide for his hair removal. Apparently quite efficient, in a blood-curdling scream kinda way.

Are you saying that Nic29+ has a hairier chest than the very manly and strong Darz?

For the time being, yes. Though I guess it would be better to check.

Wow. I've never seen a poll so unanimous before. Reminds me of when I used to vote for King el-Assad in Syria. Ahhh.. those were the good days of Democracy.

Nah, I'll just take his word for it. And I suspect you'll have to do the same for Nic.

I feel both honoured....and old.

At first I though we were getting so hard up for new discussions that we were going to start talking about my old football jock.

Well, I didn't have too much before the accident either, so.....

....actually, it's weird, I think I've got more NOW than I did before. Now can anybody explain that?????

Now, as for our player of the month, although I can totally see why Higgy deserves it, I'm going to go a little off the beat and path and vote for Mike Komisarek. I think he has arguablely been our best overall dman in October, and his game so far this short year, looks like it has improved leaps and bounds over last year.

I'm guessing either the screaming or the japanese nurse's aides raised your testosterone levels. Which means the Darz Cup v. 1 probably goes goes to Nic29+.

They were trying to frame Sipowicz, because of what he did to the crooked IAD investigator who had a 14 year old junkie girlfriend.

Well the Molson cup is in the end pretty automatic, given to the player with the most appearances in the game 3 stars over the month. Not necessarily the best overall player of the month, but the one that was outstanding enough to get a top star mention in the most games. In that sense Aebischer deserved the Molson Cup, even though I wouldn't call him best player of the month.

So I'm assuming we're voting for the best overall player of the month then? Sort of like the "Month 3 stars" we did last week.

Best Player: Higgins

Darz "Ouch" Cup: Downey, for the concussion.
