I had a couple of friends that I used to go to metal and punk shows with all the time, move to Portland a few years ago. They kept telling all of us how great it was out there. They came back for a wedding last summer and one of them brought his "girlfriend" with him and the other is suddenly sporting wide rimmed black glasses and has what used to be long hair down to the middle of back is now buzzed on the sides and left long and curly on top. They would listen to nothing but dubstep or just sulk about how crappy or played out anything else we played was. We go out to the bars in town here the night before the wedding and all they will drink is PBR tallboys (even when we are buying them shots and mixed drinks.) The one's girlfriend starts hanging all over another friend of mine and when we question her BF about it we get told "It's all good man, we are in an open relationship. She can hook up with whoever." When my friend tells her off she gets pissed that we don't know how to party, and says people in Minnesota are lame.

None of us have spoken to either of them since that weekend, nor do any of plan to.
Portland can burn to the ground for all I care. I'd probably **** on the hipster ashes if I got the chance.

^^^ Please tell me this song did not sell well.

Otherwise, I would completely lose my faith in human beings.

I don't settle for better. I go for best or beer.

I think I am going to have a beer. It's after 10am. It's Friday and Deebo hasn't stolen my bike

I love Portland, though a ton of that has to do with it's status as the Microbrew Mecca of sorts...but yeah, you have to have thick skin to get past all the hipsters.

Basically all of my college friends moved there after college...most are still the awesome people I know and love, but a couple have been swallowed by the scene.

Today seems like the perfect day to go 'gate bashing' and even flying through caves today, in my Wingsuit...yep.

hey people of the internet. you must be bored, or nullifying a certain inner pain through overpowering meaningfulness with unimportant drivel. If this screams your name like anguish of a certain ex flame or a broken hearts inner pain watch on Gringo.

Kings should go back to the Stark style jersey, but with the old school black and white crown in the middle...

Has anyone else been to a Burlington coats factory recently? The one near where I live has had some Kings stuff. Which shocked the hell out of me since it's hard to find any Kings stuff in Whittier. It might be worth a look in other areas to see if they've gotten anything recently. I found a couple sweaters, a jacket with the Chevy logo on the back of it and a couple t-shirts in the Whittier, CA Burlington.

Just saw that couple of the Ice Girls will be on The Amazing Race this season. They have the Kings logo on their shirts, so that's cool.

Edit: Here's a pic.
