So it's perfectly fine to assault an innocent man to this "stirring the crap up" just because he doesn't tell his brother-in-law's home address? Pleading guilty is a way of showing some maturity, but two guys beating a guy over a home address isn't. And it isn't showing "sorely needed mean streak" either. You don't have to act criminal in your private life to have a mean streak in NHL.

That said, he will propably learn his lesson. But I have to say this is a little bit worse than a speeding ticket. Especially I find the second assault a tad unnecessary. And I think one guy could have been enough to beat the second guy up over the home address, there wasn't need for both to be beating on the guy. But, hey, that's just how I get phone numbers and home addresses when I'm drunk. How I roll.

Lol, many people hate the guy for absolutely no reason. He's a scout and he talks like that about prospects?

Not last lock-out pre-season but the one before that when Nathan played a few games, I actually was really impressed with what I saw. He's a great skating defenseman with an eye for the net.

I really like the fact he has a pissy mean streak in him. Fights on youtube show he can most definitely handle himself.

He has a lot of raw talent that I'm looking forward to seeing in a Habs jersey. He isn't going anywhere, you can bank on that.

Can't wait to watch him test out his mean streak on Marchand.

I think he'll take on boys a little bigger then that. We'll leave Marchand for P.K or Gallagher.

Well, I talked to a Q scout and he told me that Jacques had anger management issues. And is not a very likeable person. Sais he wasn't surprised about his last actions.

P.K is a bad fighter and did not school Marchand in the fight the skirmish they had and B Gally has not fought yet in this league, as far as I know. Marchand would likely decline Beaulieu though.

One loss and one disrupted by the refs. Not exactly thing that inspires great confidence in that he'd handle Marchand.

Looks like Beaulieu senior is the bad apple. I hope they don't trade this kid because he's showing truculence.

Some time away from his father who never grew up will do him good.

Kostka is 6'02 210lb and Gally still landed a couple of punches.
yea he lost but im sure he'd handle Marchand easily.

Doesn't do bad at all for the size difference. He's a tough kid. Hoping there's still lots of room to improve even if there isn't he's still a damn good player.

My take on Beaulieu is that he is a kid who did something stupid. I also think his dad is not much of a role model.
He will need someone to live with him when he makes it to Montreal I think. Personally, I like him and I believe he is a blue chip prospect.

Well that's amazing I didn't know that went on in that community each to their own I guess? It also gives stirring the crap up a whole different meaning.

The guy is a homer. Anyone who has followed this team as a lifelong fan knows about the legendary incidents involving Hab players.

Well we are in dire need of players who are more aggressive and physical.

Seriously though...whats the whole story here? cause if he was at a party and some guy started mouthing off to him and he smacked him i have no problem with that.

Any 45 year old man who breaks children's road hockey gear with his 20 year old son is a certified idiot. The "he's only 20 years old" excuse for Nate is lame but there is no excuse whatsoever for Jacques.

Jacques was an A-hole when he coached Saint John as well.

Well it sounds like the first guy might have been mouthing off even though it was said that the beaulieus were vandalising the property. But the second victim was just an unlucky bystander who was beaten over a home address (he was the brother-in-law of the first victim).
