Beef, here we agree big time. I just want that arm pit of a franchise to disappear.
Smug is how I call their fans. They can all go piss up a tree as far as I am concerned.

Then again, Lindros benefitted from that same level of officiating, as he would often turn around and clobber the rickshawer. For sure, the vast majority of GMs would opt for a super-sized power forward who could score, hit and fight. The one talent Crosby has way beyond Lindros' is puck-carrying; had Lindros been more aware on-ice, his career would have been a lot longer.

Sounds like Josh Harris may have won the bidding war for the Devils.

Ed Snider might throw Josh and his Sixers out of the Wells Fargo.

Josh Harris, a Philadelphia businessman who has built a fortune buying down-on-their-luck companies, will likely be the next owner of the New Jersey Devils, arriving to rescue an organization steeped in its own financial troubles, according to two officials with knowledge of negotiations between Harris and the club.

Both people requested anonymity because the deal needs to be approved by the National Hockey League. Perhaps more critically, a queue of creditors owed more than $200 million needs to sign off on the deal.

For now, Harris and Devils owner Jeff Vanderbeek have agreed on a sale price for the club. While the exact details were unclear, it is probably more than $240 million, enough to cover debt payments, including $30 million the Devils borrowed from Andrew Barroway, a lawyer who is also from Philadelphia, to help the organization pay its bills the last several months.

Oddly fitting to see Le Hobbitte play for the Smurfs.

That's a lot of coin for a relatively unproven player. Just another reason why Giroux's second contract was a steal.

Is it weird that I'm more offended by the guys total lack of manly body shape? Sounds stupid I know but come on dude, it's like he never picked up a weight in his life. I guess it bothers me more cause he tweeted Bissonnette something about taking steroids. No dude, he just knows how to use gym equipment and isn't a lazy sack of garbage. Plus you're from Pittsburgh dude...

I realize he most definitely won't be reading this but I like to imagine he does/will some day.

I was more offended that the guy thought it was a draw personally. He brought a knife to a gun fight.

Biz really gave him the horns on that one.

He mentioned wanting to meet up with Biz at a Pens/Yotes game in the future so he could very well be one.

I'm furthest thing from working right now but saw some tweets about Jose Theodore signing in BOS. Curious, I asked. Told there's zero truth.

There are opposing comments on The Score despite the headline:

This was pretty cool, even though it's not the Flyers who won it. Didn't touch it, I'm of the opinion that you should win it to touch it, but it was cool anyway.

I'm guessing one of Stalberg, Oduya, Kruger, or Hjalmarsson was in your town?

Hjalmarsson was in his hometown, 50kms from where I live. The news paper where I work covered the "home-coming party". Too bad neither Grossmann nor Gus is from anywhere close. Erik Karlsson and Franzén are my other hopes when it comes to doing a thing like that again.

Sheldon Souray is out 4-6 months with a torn ligament in his wrist. I was hoping they could take Mez off our hands, but they signed Mark Fistric instead.
