Anyone have tickets to Eagles/Chiefs game they want to get rid of? My brother's wife is throwing him a surprise birthday party at the game and I'm trying to score some tickets.

I don't, but good luck with the endeavor of getting those tickets. 2nd home game of the season, prime-time Thursday night game, the return of Reid & McNabb. Yeah, I'd assume those would be in high demand. I know we're still a month out and prices could most definitely fall, but cheapest stubhub's got so far are $90 a piece for SRO.

Preseason game. Check.
Didn't slide. Check.
Injury history. Check.

He's learned.

Yeah, I know. My brother's wife got the tix for free for her and him, but everyone else has to pay. Haha

You're probably better off breaking into the stadium. There's an NFL Films feature on a guy who used to do that and always got away with it, and no one knew who he was even though they all recognized him.

Wasn't that the Vet though? I imagine sneaking in to the Linc would be pretty hard/dangerous. Back in the days of the Vet the cops probably wouldn't get involved if you got caught sneaking in. They'd probably just boot you out. Nowadays you'd definitely get arrested.

If I have to end up paying with parking and everything like $100 just to *GET* in to a birthday party...you're not getting a gift from me.

If Vick helps this team the most then I say go with Vick.

Yeah, but i feel like we know what Vick can do, and it hasn't lead us to much. I'd like to give the kid a chance.

I wanna see what he can do in an offense that doesn't have him throwing the ball 50 times a game. Plus the offensive line being healthy (knock on wood) should help too.

As long as Vick can hold onto the ball, I think he'll do really well. This is the right choice. Question is what happens behind him? I feel like Barkley (future) and Dixon (familiarity/talent) are locks to make the team...but we could use a legit back-up like Foles.

Maybe I'm underrating Dixon, he's played well in his few games in action in PIT...although I've always been under the impression that a blind three-legged dog could play QB in PIT's offense.

Hopefully Vick can do a better job reading the defense this season. I'm worried that once the regular season gets here and he is facing full first teams and full speed and teams develop a library of film on the Eagles, defenses will be able to exploit Vick's weaknesses.

That's always been my beef with him. Before, he had the speed to make up for his lack of d coverage reading, but now... he gets lit up like a Christmas tree.

That one play against the Saints I think last year where the guy lined up on the line and was clearly blitzing, Vick didn't pick it up and got annihilated... yeah.

Vick said today he plans to run more this season than last year and that he's added weight to take the hits. So I'm going to revise my injured by week 6 prediction to week 3.

That game was so bad to watch except for the Riley Cooper trick return that was called back.

That play was hilarious. Cooper laying in the black of the helmet to hide was funny as hell.

Is Andy Reid calling the plays for this game? Too many passes.
