How many goals will Rick Nash score?

How many goals does everyone think Nasher will have if he plays a full 82 games with Stepan? 45?

On pace for 39 goals in the lockout year. He missed 4 games of the 48 game season. 21 in 44. Nash will have 41 in a full season providing he stays healthy.

Nash is gonna be the next Ranger to break 50 goals. im gonna say 50 if healthy and has 3 hat tricks this year... but realisticly he def scores at least 35 goals

i think Nash should play with Brassard... Brassard is the best passer on the team.

If he gets to play with Stepan AND Hagelin for at least 60% of his ES minutes, 43. Maybe more.

If he gets jerked around the lineup, 36.

That line was ridiculously dominant last year. Look at Nash's WOWY's for Stepan and Hagelin, especially Hagelin. They owned possession and outscored their opponents more than 3 to 1. Such a shame that we became the definition of a one line team when we played them together, that is hopefully not the case this season.

They looked awful together so I disagree with this

Not enough to appease some fans and keep them from saying the trade was a failure.

Send a message via AIM to Hollywood Hulk Hogan
Under AV's system he should break 60 so I'll say 60 or bust

I think anything around 40, give or take a few will keep everyone happy. The only piece from that trade that I miss is Duby.

Given this "purely offensive" system were going to emplor, 60 should be easily attainable since we're gona be doing nothing but scoring all season. Also might I add Del Zotto and Moore will both assist at least 25 of those goals each.

But really I think 40 should be easy if he's playing significant time with hags and step, and he's healthy all season

40-45 sounds about right. Lets his chemistry with our centers build and he stops trying to deke through everyone and he can put up a lotta points.

AV will give Nash a few more offensive starts. Nash will not be required to block shots which previous coach viewed as a part of defending and getting the puck back. Vigneault adjusted to his personnel in Vancouver. The previous coach here was too stubborn for his own good. The forwards will not be required to come down low to defend leaving the points wide open and then the forwards throwing their bodies in front of pucks. More balanced system.

RB makes a good point. More balanced play will do more than Nash a lot of good

Can't wait for the season to start. Nash has to reach 40 ... if not we'll have another ageing past-his-prime guy ...

Is there a site that tracks who assisted and how many times on another players goals?

For example out of Nash 21 goals, 9 had assists by Stepan. 5 had assists by Richards. Is there an easy way other than going through their game logs and counting?

Honestly anything under 40 would be sort of disappointing. No excuse. He has a legit #1C and a coach that will let him play his game.

Oh no. I knew his groin was desperately fragile, but his shoulder, I had no idea...

If only Brashear was still here. Talbot's gonna rip his shoulder right out.

I think he clears 50 goals since he won't have to be worried about getting benched like a ****** for not blocking shots
