I think a healthy Kesler will have another big year. I don't think we will ever see 100pts out of the Sedins again. They'll probably crack 70pts but like Naslund and other Swedes they've peaked and will be consistent close to PPG players but won't be league leaders again.

I am Booth's LEAST biggest fan so if he does ANYTHING remotely positive other than praying for a goal I'll be happy.

If Burrows was able to become more than a 20 goal, 45 point player with his skillset, then Hansen does not have nowhere to go but down.

Jordan Schroeder.

Fans loved how him Hansen and Raymond looked last year (when they were united).

People forgot that he actually had a pretty impressive campaign for a rookie.

Myron in the ECHL will play well enough for a call up to the AHL, I hope.

I have to say Luongo. With Schneider gone I feel a lot of fans view Luo as a second tier starter. I think under Torts he's going to be a Vezina calibre goaltender.

I think the general consensus is that Schroeder will break out a bit so ill pick Booth as my runner up. So many fans think Booth is crap when realistically he just hasn't been healthy. When Booth is in the line up our offense improves drastically. I just hope he stays healthy so he can prove a lot of people wrong.

well burrows has very very rare chemistry with two guys talented enough to win art ross trophies. hansen is many things and i love the guy but he doesn't have what burrows does with the sedins.

but i agree: hansen's numbers can go up. but would we want that? i think of marty gelinas-- very useful player, worth considerably more than his numbers on three teams that made the finals (i'm not counting his rookie year in edmonton). if you gave that guy top six minutes and plum PP time, he could put up legit goal scorer's numbers. but if you were in a position to give him those minutes and PP time, you'd be a pretty bad team. same with hansen. yeah, i could see him putting up a 25/50 if all the pieces were in place, but man, do the cost/benefit analysis and you wouldn't want those pieces to be in place; you'd rather have him absolutely killing his 3rd line winger role.

I think Hansen could explode under the right circumstances, like perfect teammates, perfect season and what not. I could see Hansen perform like Claude Lemiux.

But I agree, I like Hansen on the 3rd line with occasional top 6 mins.

Bieksa: Will break his career high in goals, possibly points and have a solid defensive year.
Edler: Will become our undisputed number one.
Kesler: Will flirt with 40 goals again.
Booth: Quietly will hit 20.
Higgins: Consistently throughout the season; will score multiple times in the playoffs.
Kassian: 20-25 goals by season's end.
Luongo: Will flirt with the Vezina.

Yes, those are my predictions. Time for a little optimism.

Fans chiming that Hansen is as good as he will get and has reached his ceiling have a very short memory. Every year fans say Hansen has maxed his potential; but he continues to get better. Perhaps the doubt is what fuels Hansen's play on the ice every year.

I just find it strange fans would be doubting a player that seems to impress more and more every year....short memories indeed.

Over 82 games Booth is well over 30pts. Problem is he never plays 82 games.

-Hansen (C)
-Garrison (C)
-Tanev (C)

-Booth (B)
-Edler (B)
-Luongo (B)
-Kesler (B)
-Burrows (B)

it's been a while since we've seen a healthy kesler, and tortorella is the kind of guy that will push him to his potential...he was perhaps the star player with the most friction with vigneault and it's easy to forget he was a top-15 player league-wide just two seasons ago

also it's easy to forget how dominant he was at the olympics for the americans, something he'll want to work towards for sochi once again

new coach + clean bill of health + motivation + olympic year = return to stud status

I feel like around the league, and even within are fanbase people expect a regression from the Sedins. I however do not share this expectation. IMO the Sedins will be PPG players again, and again most will attempt to discredit them. They will say things like "they score, but aren't good/don't have intangibles etc "...anyway I see Hank scoring 15+G's,65+A's for 80+Pts, and Daniel will get his 25+G's,50+A's and 75+Pts
