Anyone here have their class 3 license/air brakes? Where'd you get it done? And how much did it cost?

Not to get all political or nothin but this Pamela Wallin story is kind of enfuriating/ridiculous... They're saying travel expenses for Senators over the past 3 years is upwards of 10 million dollars... all one can ask is how, and why? Anyways, carry on...

I'd assume they are using AirCanada, **** ain't cheap.

Which leads me to a complaint, why is it cheaper to fly to the US than to Vancouver?

Yep, just always unfortunate when you've amassed a huge total throughout the year.

Anyone else really annoyed by the "Fair for Canada" add campaign that Telus Bell and Rogers are running?

Yes, I'm sure the reason you are against Verizon coming to Canada is because you want what's best for Canadians...

We talked about it before on these boards somewhere. All it's doing is having me looking and waiting for this new wireless company to come here.

Pisses me off. The 3 companies who have price gouged canadians more than anyone for 20 years, boo hoo.

I know complaining about ads is frowned upon, but this "The World's End" ad doesn't even let us use the forum jump function on this website. That's a little much (what I mean is that the ad, even in small form, covers the forum jump function, making it so you can't click on a bunch of different boards).

I think what's best as the commercial was just on, is the fact that they keep telling people that it's cheaper in Canada than in the USA.

Who cares? All that matters is you are cheaper than your competition in this country. If you are so proud of being cheaper than your american counterparts then why are you so worried in the first place?

Getting sick of the Toronto Blue Jays coverage every day in the media. In fact, I was sick of it two months ago. Maybe it's different when they're a good team and they're winning (which is never), but now it's like a stream of unending bad news. The team isn't worthy of the coverage they get.

What else are Canadian sports broadcasters going to talk about during the summer months when nothing else is going on ?

If you don't want to hear about it, you're free to shut it off.

Next best commercial is Susie wants to be a homemaker. I thought it was one of Garner's commercials at first not a women building futures commercial that meant she wanted to be a carpenter and not a stay at home mom.

Tampa fan here coming in peace. I just moved to the U of A and was wondering if there's anyone else on the boards that goes here. Also, I'd just like to mention that the legal drinking age here is f***ing sweet!
