Post your special teams, any of your extra skaters you might want to sub-in in this series, links to bio or any other information.

The format of the first post is standardized for easy, clean, equal comparison, both teams viewable without having to scroll down.

The fourth seed versus fifth seed.

Have a good series!

Goaltending

...the Wings kept their team in tact, including goaltending Mowers. With redemption fueling them all season long, 1942-43 was all Detroit and Mowers. He won the Vezina, the Red Wings finished first, and he led the Wings to the Stanley Cup.

Leif Erik "Honken" Holmqvist (born 12 November 1942 in Gävle, Sweden) is a retired Swedish ice hockey goaltender. He is one of only three players to win the Golden Puck award twice, which he did while playing for AIK. Holmqvist was named best goaltender at the 1969 IIHF World Championships. He was inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame in 1999.

Mowers is one of only two three time MLD Champs and IIHF HoFer Honken "is one of only three players to win the Golden Puck award twice" so our goaltending is solid.

Färjestad BK prevails over Laval Voisins in OT of Game 7.

"An exciting series, back and forth, lots of hitting and skating....and given the lineup, surprisingly clean for the most part.

In the end it's the stellar Färjestad BK defensive corps that make a difference.

Milbury tries to start something with Sterner and Lucic tattoos him into next week.....although it doesn't seem to faze cementhead Milbury all that much."

Stars:

1. Hakan Loob
2/3. Phat Wilson/Bronco Horvath

Weldy Young, Mike Rogers, and Johnny Mowers were also strong this series.
