some depressive numbers

Last season - this season

* Last season on New Years eve, we lost our eleventh game of the season.
Now its early november...

* Last season we had three wins after five games.
now its early november...

In mid of January Forsberg played his eighth game when he didnt record a point.
Now its early november.

After 13 games Peter has 9 points. A year ago he had 24 assists and four goals after 13 games.

And... one thing thats probably a negativ record for Forsberg. He hasnt produced one assist in the last eight games he played. Thats probably the first time in his career.

Yeah, so far this season has sucked. No question.

It's still possible to turn it around though. I'd rather see a crappy start with a great finish (anyone remember the Devils last year?) than a great start and a weak finish to the season.

Luckily for the Flyers, the rest of the division aren't leaving them in the dust. The Flyers do need to string together a few wins sooner rather than later.

The forwards not named Gagne and Forsberg need to start scoring, and they all need to get back to help out defensively on a consistent basis. The D is sketchy (that's as positive as I can get) so it has to fall on the forwards' shoulders to help out as much as possible. If the forwards can do that, the D will be better and I think the goaltending can't help but be better.

I think he is %100. It`s called a team rut, or maybe more but on a personal level his game has not suffered much. He`s playing better defensively then I ever have seen him do before. He`s broken up odd man rushes on numerous occasions. I think he`s playing fine. It might be age but not health, if that makes sense. I think it`s the whole team. How would any one of us be motivated playing for this squad right now. You pull everything you can to get a win out in Atlanta and then lose 8-2 to Pittsburgh. It`s brutal. Constantly looking for ways to motivate but it failing at every turn is a joke. These guys are professional and still can`t manage. I`d seriously bring in a few sports psychologistsł if they haven`t already.

He's not 100%. His wrist never had a chance to heal and he's visiting the foot specialist again today because his right foot still isn't comfortable in the skate.

Is he ever actually 100%

I think he is just trying too hard to carry this team at the moment since everyone else pretty much smells like rotten fish.

It is making him look a little sloppy at times but he is the last person we should worry about at this point.

exactly. He looks bad because of that C on his chest but I htink he's doing well and really the only player playing well consistently, probably because of that C on his chest, lol. Catch 22.
