Does anyone know of any stores, even in Minnesota where I can find the old style away jersey (with the Reebok on the back neck, and rectangle shoulder patches) in size 50? I want to get one before they are gone forever but I can't find them online anywhere.

In all honesty, I would THINK the hockey lodge in the mall would have it. If not, try like Dicks Sporting Goods or something?

I am from out of town (Philadelphia, PA). I ordered one from the Hockey Lodge in the Xcel Center back in May but the only size 50 they had was an older style with the reebok vector logo on the back.

If anyone sees them around please send me a PM.

The hunt continues eh? Have you tried calling all of the Lodge locations? might not hurt. I think it is going to be pretty slim finding the one with the wordmark as the Wild didn't get a fresh batch of authentics during the lockout/short season. I know most if not all the stores around the cities selling Wild stuff only do replicas.

I guess as a last resort, try calling the team customizer's.

I have to drop by a few places today to get some more UA gear for the gym. I'll seriously keep a look out.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the help.

I thought about calling Heritage but I wasn't sure if they sold authentics. I will call them and Cunningham's at lunch.

Kind of surprised myself. IIRC, the Wild accidentally leaked the green alternate themselves by putting it on the website prior to unveiling.

Also, here are the Sharks new jerseys. I really like the white aways.

I guess the main input was from the players and trainers regarding the performance. The players love the black alternates because they are lighter, so they decided to go with a lighter home and away design. Fans apparently also had a say in the matter as they removed more orange out of these jerseys due to fans not liking the amount of orange in the previous designs.

Amazing that an organization actually listens to fan feedback.

I was wondering if Cunningham's was out of business since driving by their closed shop in SSP a couple weeks ago and of course their shop in Woodbury has been gone for a while too. Glad to see they're still around.

The Sharks should have left well enough alone.... Not a fan of their new duds. In fact, not a fan of any hockey sweater with numbers on the front, which was the ONLY problem with their last sweater.

I like everything but the chest numbers. Take that out and I think they have a solid set of jerseys. I almost wonder now if they are keeping the chest numbers out of "tradition".

chest numbers suck. i would ditch the gold in there too. always love their black alternates save for the lousy chest numbers.

They look like practice jerseys. Needs shoulder and waist striping. I'd minimize the orange accents. Also ditch the numbers on the chest.

Seriously, how is it that 90% of the time NHL teams make their jerseys look worse with every re-design? Shouldn't be that hard. Take a classic O6 jersey, tweak it with your colors and logo, maybe add something interesting.

Those new Sharks jerseys look amazing and modern. I love the more modern look and advocate change. I'd even say that try those with even thinner arm stripes (and get rid of the chest numbering).

Interesting....I wonder if the Wild utilize the same chest logo for their new away sweaters?

So they basically took our current greens, stripped the script out, and stuck a circle version of the Wild logo in the center that would take like 5 minutes to whip up in photoshop.

Lazy.

I would have preferred they just put the Wild Bear logo on the chest, but larger, and gotten rid of the circle and wording.

Isn't that Iowa jersey more of an alternate jersey? I thought their home/away jerseys were already unveiled.

I know they're our AHL affiliate and all but it's starting to annoy me a bit how much they're trying to make the two clubs identical. You look at most AHL teams and they definitely have a lot of differences between them and their big club. A shoulder patch of the big club's logo and somewhat similar colors should really be all that is needed.

They may not be ultra-creative, but I like those better than our reds.

Maybe the organization used all their extra creativity on the new aways for the big club?

It's the uniform version of Nordy.

In all seriousness, I could swear someone made that jersey as a Wild template in this thread.
