We found our power forward!!!

CRAIG RIVET!!!

Rivet-Koivu-Ryder

Rivet-Koivu would be as good than Selanne-Koivu with Team Finland a few years ago. They have already a great chemistry together.

Anyway, Lats is too slow. Maybe he would play better on D with Niinima or Streit...

I'd rather see them put Dandy upfront.....he used to be a right winger early on in Detroit.....but I could deal with that if Rivet turned out to be a good winger....he definitely has the size.

Rivet has played forward multiple times in the past few years...Every time he has looked quite good and not out of place at all.

I'd like to know how Streit would do as a forward since he's small speedy and is suposed to be a good dangler on the shoot outs. Just for a game just to see.

He did play as a forward one game last year. He only got 4mins of icetime, but I thought he looked good (4th line).

It looks like Rivet have an accurate wrist shot, but we don't see it very often

Rivet has as nice a wrist shot as any of the forwards...His wrister is underrated, it's super accurate, quick and he has a good release. Just look yesterday, he picked his spot as well as Kovalev does.

I was thinking that you were talking of Souray when I saw the title of the topic. I would like to see him at the wing but to stay on defense on the PP.

I wouldnt mind and also wouldnt be surprised if when Dandy comes back he plays a few games upfront with the absence of Higgins

I do not forsee anything that could happen that would allow Rivet first line forward duties.

What about Souray, loved that rush in overtime!!!! That looks like a frustrated d-man who would love to play forward.....
