Anyone else think that carpet they want to call grass is an issue? It seems that players get hurt a lot on it without contact.

Hixon, T.Thomas, Revis, Cruz etc... all got hurt on that turf.

Was reading Jets writers on twitter before, and they said it's new turf for tonight, and guys were slipping a lot in warm ups. Those non contact injuries freaking suck.

Hope Brown is okay.

Brown's injury looks like an ACL.

Revis got hurt in Miami. Natural grass. It can happen anywhere.

The funny thing is despite the two interceptions (neglecting the first one where the receiver didn't feel like catching the ball) he looks much better than Sanchez. Passes are much crisper and on target compared to Sanchez who's specialty is throwing way high over receivers

yeah. so disappointing. we havent gotten through a preseason without a major knee injury to a DB in years it seems. that injury was non contact as well so to be in that much pain, it must be pretty bad.

Here comes Sanchez and it is the right move. Let Geno watch the game. Should help him. Practice reps will help too. Not everyone is ready week 1 first season

The worst part about it is that he is our only ball hawk.

They have to get Cordle out of there. He looks like Diehl but at center.

Nicks should be playing a non contact sport like baseball. He has a glass body for football. Limping already. lol

That's just false. Everyone says the same thing about it last year too neglecting to note it was actually ranked in the top half of the league via afs and pff.

Sometimes the stats don't show the full story.

No. What they do is prove your statements false.

Erm, no. The Giants were highly ranked a couple of years ago and I had remarked how porous the line was. I had some stats surfer pull the same stuff out when I was watching the games and knew what I was seeing. The stats are not always 100% accurate. Maybe it's just this game that every single play your QB is either on his ass or rushed.

Once again the Giants just tear up that line.

Another play, another pressure. Good job by Smith, though, to get the ball out and get the first down.

Yes, what I'm saying is I have a rather low value of your opinions in comparison to other more reputable sources.

So you're the Kershaw of the NFL, basically.

In all fairness, I have no clue what last year's stats have to do with this year, anyway. But I digress.
