Too bad there is a catch to this that he didn't mention. Not only do you have to purchase tickets to the Stadium Series, but you also have purchase his seats for two regular season games. Not to mention, the games that he is selling are games you can find on StubHub for under face value.

Just a fair warning to anyone.

If anyone is interested in buying 2 tickets to the Rangers vs. Islander Yankee Stadium game at face value this is what you would need to do.

Purchase 2 tickets for 2 of the games listed below at face value of $135 per ticket + $6 paypal fees.
or purchase 4 tickets for 1 of the games listed below at face value of $135 per ticket + $6 paypal fees.

My appointment to purchase the Yankee Stadium tickets is Tuesday at 10:00 AM so I won't know the price point I am gettting until then. I will be going for somewhere between the $279 to $249 Range.

MON NOV 4 DUCKS 7:30 PM $135
SUN NOV 10 PANTHERS 7:00 PM $135
MON DEC 2 JETS 7:00 PM $135
TUE DEC 10 PREDATORS 7:30 PM $135

And you have to pay above face on SH for the outdoor game so what's unfair about that? This way you both avoid the SH fees.

To clarify my previous post I laid out all the details in a subsequent post telling people they had to purchase specific regular season games at face value. If you do the math and purchase the Stadium Series game at face value and 2 regular season games at face value you are coming out ahead.
Even if as you say you could buy the regular season games on Stubhub for less than face value it would still be a good deal. You do the math.

I guess you were expecting to buy the Stadium Series seats at face value.

Thanks McD27

I guess this guy thinks its fair that he only pay face value to the Yankee Stadium games when the market for that game will be very strong. In essence I thought my offer was actually better than paying a huge mark up for the Stadium games without any other stipulations of buying other games at face value.

I wasn't expecting that in the least bit, in fact, I was anticipating them being a lot more. I also wasn't trying to start a big fuss about it either, I was just letting people know what to expect. Thanks again for passing along that information to me.

So, what is wrong with that? I am going to buy a pair of tickets for the outdoor games. Wife and I are most likely going to the Sunday game against the Devils. Probably going to sell the Isles game, but not 100% sure. If I sell the Isles game, you can bet your bippy I am going to sell them for more than face value, but not offer any other tickets (already sold all the games for the season I want to sell). I don't see anything wrong with a guy asking you to buy 4 of his other tickets.

I think that if you are planning on going to one of the outdoor games this is a great deal. I expect the market for these tickets to be very strong.

Trust me, the deal had me thinking for quite a while, but I don't have that kind of money to put down on 3 separate games at the moment. Plus, $135 for Western Conference games is also out of my price range for the most part.

I completely respect what he was doing, and I understand it was a great deal. I thank him for giving me the opportunity to have a shot at them.

Hey guys, sorry it has taken me this long to post the schedule as I just got accepted to Local 3 electricians union so everything was waiting on that so I had an idea what games I can go to this year. Pretty much everything is available besides weekend games, which seems like the only days I can go to games this year. My seats are section 226 row 9 seats 4 and 5. If you buy games now you will pay face value for them no matter what game (8ea-160 for the pair). Here is what is available.

October
10/27 vs Montreal (home opener not for face value)
10/31 vs Buffalo

November
11/4 vs Anaheim
11/12 vs New Jersey
11/19 vs Boston

December
12/2 vs Winnipeg
12/8 vs Washington
12/10 vs Nashville
12/12 vs Columbus
12/18 vs Pittsburgh
12/23 vs Toronto

January
1/6 vs Columbus
1/14 vs Tampa Bay
1/16 vs Detroit
1/19 vs Washington
1/21 vs Islanders
1/23 vs St. Louis

February
2/4 vs Colorado
2/6 vs Edmonton

March
3/5 vs Toronto
3/24 vs Phoenix
3/26 vs Philadelphia

April
4/5 vs Ottawa
4/8 vs Carolina
4/10 vs Buffalo (last Home game of the season).

Anyone who is interested please PM me. Thanks guys and lets get this b**** started!

Those are great seats. I go at 2pm today. Will try for the delta suites.

(Guess GG was misinformed that we get the first base sides)

Not sure where Delta suites are or if they are available.
When I logged in it gives you several choices of seating areas.

You don't get to select a particular section, just a general area.
After you select the price range and number of tickets it shows you the section, row and seat numbers that you can buy. If you don't want those seats you can try again. It is similar to a ticketmaster screen.

Good luck !!

Did they restrict you to certain price points like they said they would?

I didn't look that carefully but I believe they restricted me to certain price points.
I think my choices were 200, 300 or 400 level. They didn't give me an option for 100 level but I wouldn't want them anyway.

I have Row 1 gallery seats for the regular season.

Alright thanks. We're in the $56 price point but we're looking at the 400 level so I'm hoping we're not restricted to the cheaper seats on the 100 level because we have the cheaper seats at MSG.
