Can we just not celebrate players in their own thread instead of bringing up **** about ****...

good work for Hagg, can't wait to see him in North America.

Hägg scores again. Another slapper from the blueline with the man advantage. Two periods left in the game against Timrå. I´ll give you another update when the game is finished.

Hagg showed up some nice physical play and dished out some damage tonight. Also very calm and poised as always. He has now scored most goals for Modo in the pre-season. (2 on 3 games)

You can watch the game again here: http://allehanda.se/tv/live/1.6181737-hockeyrepriser

Hagg in number 14, CBJ prospect Anton Forsberg in net and BUF prospect Gustav Possler in number 33.

Thanks

Hagg's goal is at the 28 minute mark for those wondering. He can really rip it. Beat goalie high glove side (looked like goalie was screened though).

i'm on my phone and it's so hard to keep track on him, only watched the goal.
Well Simmonds and Hartnell screning the goalie and Hagg shooting the puck that sounds like a good plan

and thanks for the Link

Hopefully Hagg keeps it up so Sweden's forced to give him more of an expanded role at the WJC's.

Most of the lineup projections that I've seen have had on the top pair. I assume that means most people already think he's going to have a key role.

He was playing a shut-down role at the recent Lake Placid Junior Evaluation Camp for Sweden.

Hagg's slapper is so deceptive. Looks like he's going to let off a muffin every time with that off wind up, but then he launches a cannon at the net.

I'm excited to see what Hagg and Ghost can do on the powerplay at the higher levels.

Hagg picked up an assist today. He's still playing top pairing minutes for Modo. Their regular season opener is September 14th.

PHI's Robert Hagg logged 18:53 in a OT win. 2nd in ice time among MODO dmen. Don't know if he played one SHL game over 15 min last yr.

Hopefully he'll continue to get those minutes, if he does we may see him in NA as early as next season.

Any chance he joins the Phantoms for a few games after MODO's season is done this up coming season? That would be nice.

If he is playing those kind of mins all year it says very good things about him!

SHL is arguably better than the AHL as well. I hope we don't rush him, but if he ends up as No.1 in mins for MODO this year he could probably jump straight to the NHL.

Getting ahead of myself there, I know!

Too early to tell since consistency has been his major weakness so far in his career.

Very encouraging news though! He has all the tools to turns into top-4 two way defenseman and maybe the Flyers found themselves a real gem here.

Picked up an assist today in Modos 3-1 win over AIK. It's only two games played so far but hes been solid and logging top minutes. Also, if you didnt know hes in our first pairing, playing along with Richie Regehr. Was pretty close scoring a goal tonight aswell.
