Ha, didn't even think of that.

So basically, two captains of starships who have encountered many different worlds and people have determined that the hockey team to root for is the Canadiens? Sounds about right.

Reviving this thread to say I am currently at the home opener for the Jokerit in Helsinki and including my wife and I we are 4 to be rocking Habs items! Most I have seen for NHL teams so far

Is it me or even if Quebec had 4 million+ Habs fans, Quebec would not account for a majority of Habs fans worldwide?

As I said earlier, the Habs fanbase reached everywhere in the hockey-playing world...

Just to comment on the Viggo Mortensen picture in the OP... He's not only a huge fan, he actually admitted wearing a habs t-shirt under his armor on the set of The Lord of the Rings.
