The Jets starting O line last year was not up to snuff. Look at the Mcilroy game. But I can't forget how Sanchez got killed out there all year. Even on the rare occasion where he could decipher a D and find an open man it was to no avail because he would get ear holed before or right after throwing it. His horrific play also invites every man on the D to pin their ears back because they know they've got 7 other guys in the box and little chance of a big play happening.

Kyle Wilson never developed the ability/instinct to turn around and get the ball. Too bad because he's often in great position to intercept it with fairly good coverage. Or is it more that he's always in position to catch an underthrow?

Putting Coples at LB is borderline ********. Find an actual ******* OLB and let the guy build on his 61/2 sack rookie year. Why are we taking a guy with that kind of raw power and ability, making him drop weight and telling him to cover WR which he has never done before?

The Giants never met a WR they didn't like. How else can you explain why guys had every DB beat all game? If it weren't for three overthrows there would have been another 1 or 2 TD's besides the great TD Simms had

Sh**chez...lol.

Rex...lol. Great coach. Unfortunately he seems to have gambled and lost on a horrific, all time bad QB and is having a mental breakdown. If you hate the media just say it because your show of contempt is being read as the early stages of psychosis. Maybe he's the Andy Kaufman of coaches and is snickering in the back with John "Bob Zmuda" Idzik about how confused everyone is by his Rex Clifton performances. Still I don't buy why everyone is complaining about his decision to throw butt fumble to the wolves. Am I the only one who saw the dropped shotgun snap? Sh**chez is and has been every bit as awful as Smith was only Sh**chez has been doing it in the regular season for two years now. So in the end who cares if he's hurt...he isn't their starting QB but he might be the winner by default.

Geno Smith looked dumb, panicky and apparently hates every wide receiver he has because he made them reach back all game. Best way to get every single WR murdered by a S coming across the field. If he doesn't want to be held down by Edwards and Holmes while the rest of the WR's who actually played beat him with socks filled with soap bars then he'd better get his ass in gear. Do the Jets not practice throwing to a man before he's open? Neither Smith nor Sh**chez seem capable of hitting a guy in stride. Do they not know where the WR's are going to go ? According to Sh**chez the last few years his WR's need to open a book on route running 101. Dunno if I buy that though.

Dee Milner...is he a p*** or is Cromartie just being a d***?

Sheldon Richardson is God so far and Wilkerson is welcoming him to the pantheon.

Who the hell was playing NT against the giants? Guess we gots some injuries.

Vlad Ducrapass is still on the team? Why? You'd have the same appearance of depth if you hole punched the spot that says "backup guard" on the depth chart

And of course Belichick runs up the score. Can't hear what he says though, two superbowl rings plug in my ears.

Unbelievable. I was really looking forward to see what Brown could do over the course of a full season, too.

Yeah for a non-athlete to resume walking on. For a professional football player to fully rehab from a broken leg is at least 6 months. It depends on where and how bad the break is too...

Yea that makes sense, but I was holding out hope...He wasn't even tackled hard the poor guy has no luck...I honestly wouldn't mind bringing back Jacobs I've seen enough of Torrain..I can live with Wilson/Jacobs and Scott who had a nice game and looks to have a nice upside.

I have a Jacobs jersey tucked away in my closet. It would be nice to be able to break that out again. It's really the only good thing that can come out of signing him.

Are McGahee or Turner reasonable options?

He is going to be IR'd for sure. If he has some insane recovery, perhaps he can be removed from IR after mid-season, but I doubt it.

FWIW, I would prefer Torain to Scott.

Hey guys, We have an ongoing fantasy football league of hockeyforums members (this will be its second year) and we have some teams available if anyone is looking to add another keeper league to their stable

You can keep any two players and it's standard scoring. The live draft is scheduled for 7:30 on Sept 2nd. Just shoot me a PM if you're interested in one of the teams.

Potential keepers as follows...

Team #1

A.J Green
Steve Smith (Car)
Drew Brees
Larry Fitzgerald
Reggie Bush

Team #2

Aaron Rodgers
Demarco Murray
Marshawn Lynch
Wes Welker
Torrey Smith

Preseason from hell.

Can Cox, Torrain, Scott protect Eli at all?

Going to need to play Hynoski/Pascoe at RB on third-downs just so Eli has some protection

Michael Turner as an option interests me, but I don't see Reese hitting the FA market for this situation.

I don't mean to sound uncaring, but running backs like Brown are very easy to find in this league. The issue is to try to bring someone n who doesn't know our system.

Jacobs could be a help; but he hasn't been training as far as I know. Torrain can protect well, from what I have seen.

It's not uncaring, it's true. And more truth is Brown is still largely unproven.

The Giants has used up their luck with their 2 most recent playoff runs. You guys have no reason to complain about luck.

Gotta admit I chuckled at the title considering the Giants good fortunes over the past 5 years or so.

The Patriots and Steelers win multiple super bowls because of good management and players. The Giants do it because of luck.

I remember one fan congratulating us for the wild card round playoff win in 2012, as he called it our first playoff win in 12 years because "2007 was a fluke and doesn't count."
