I think Ben might be set up for failure this year. The Steelers let his best WR walk (yeah he acted like a ***** last year, but he was still the Steelers best WR), they let their best OL go because their obsessed with zone-blocking rather than protecting their franchise QB, and they still continue to go against the grain of the rest of the NFL.

I think the Steelers are the only team in the NFL that would rather under-use a QB like Ben to do things their way. This team would rather go 7-9 doing things "the Steeler way" rather than modernizing their philosophies and possibly being super bowl contenders again.

I still think the Steelers can have a good year. Troy and Woodley look healthier than they have in years. The defensive front 7 and safety spots look deep. A little thin at CB but Cortez and Ike are very solid starters.

They have a young talented O-Line that can grow together throughout the year and hopefully get better as it goes. I like the WR group. The RB group should get a boost once Bell gets back.

The Steelers won't fire their coach. It just won't happen. The guy has warts in his coaching but he's won 65% of his games and gotten to two Super Bowls. They won't fire that kind of coach.

They suffered through a similar transition period under Bill Cowher in the late 90's once the Rod Woodson's, Greg Lloyd's etc. moved on. Tomlin is going through that now with the departures of Harrison, Hampton etc. But he should come out of it fine if Jarvis Jones and some of these other guys pan out.

Considering all the great pass-rushers the Steelers face this season, they don't have much time to "get it together".... and by that I mean Week 2 against the Bengals. Ben could be on IR by the time the line starts to gel.

The Chargers released Starks today. He struggled in the preseason, but he's still better than Gilbert and Adams right now. The hell with zone-blocking, protecting the franchise QB is more important.

We'll see how the team looks when things settle down...I see them as contending for a wild card at best.

Jonathan Cooper, the lineman drafted this year by the Cards out of UNC broke his leg and is done for the season. Complete kick in the balls for AZ

That's enough to make me projectile vomit.

What is the deal with the fantasy league? There are only 8 teams and the draft is set for tomorrow. Is the draft still planned for tomorrow and is there a way we can get more teams?

Penn State.. The first five games are against no bodies. Could possibly hear a lot about them.

Ohio State's scared. Who's ready?

I'm still interested in adding more teams, but I haven't had any more bites. Unless we get at least 2 more members we'll just go ahead with an 8 team draft.

mashsoccer has shown interest so I directed him towards you.

All we would need is one more. It can't be that hard to find someone.

Thought the Buckeyes looked good so far. I think the defense is scary going forward. Young.. too young.

Joey Bosa has looked really good so far playing DE. Also, Dontre Wilson is ****ing fast . Braxton is much more poised in the pocket and his delivery is leaps and bounds better compared to last year.

I don't know EOL... Pretty sloppy game, eh? I like the talent but they need to play as a team.

Team looked like it took a nap after halftime. Should be better next week with Roby and Rod Smith back.

You never know about injuries - both to the Steelers and their opponents - but 7-9 seems about right.

Christ, Tomlin. All of our rb's are injury prone and you cut a healthy Dwyer?
